Hey dont diss Maroon 5 for playing an Oasis song. Both bands have tremendous talent with different styles in music. Like mentioned above, it just shows how Oasis has influenced many rock bands of today. Besides Adam does play it pretty good :)

Noel asked what band he was in and when he said Maroon 5 Noel drunkenly joked, "you're not very good are ya?" The way Noel tells it he was serious, but played it of as "whatever, I'm Northern and irreverent, that's what I do, slag people off".

Later on that night Noel ran into the guy (cont.)

It's much funnier when you hear Noel tell it, but you get the idea. Lets just say for all the love Maroon 5 have for Oasis, the feeling is not mutual from a musical standpoint.

This is a pretty decent cover, however Adam (Levine) is actually playing the wrong chords... would seem he is playing A, G5, D, E... when it's really just Asus2... Asus2 with a G in the bass, Asus2 with an F# in the bass... then Asus2 with an open E in the bass... I don't know how he could make such an easy mistake, watch/listen to any Oasis performance of the song and it's clear that's what Noel's doing... and I'm a novice guitarist! Good cover but stay true to the original Maroon 5!!!
