Hello KosovAlbaner123, I had an XP disc so i just reinstalled the whole thing, I already had music and pictures stored on an external hard drive so no worries about losing stuff. Many thanks for your reply, im up and running again but in the process of installing a new hard drive and putting windows 7 onit, thats as long as it doesnt conflict with my HP Pavillion lol.You stay close to your pc i might be back with another quiery soon lol My very best wishess to you and thankyou again buddy.....

Its not doing what you predicted,its actually running a programme called "Windows File Protection" its making sure all protected windows files are intact and in original versions.,my pc and xp disc are running in harmony and after a restart it still keeps going back to restart..im fed up its getting a full reboot...Thanks anyways buddy it was worth the try.... :(
