I took another "painful" listen and I have come to the conclusion that the genre that classifies BFMV is FannyBanditCore. I also did a small poll of what people should call BFMV's genre, and they agreed that they are in there own genre. They are paving the way. Hope this helped.

Metalcore combines elements of heavy metal and hardcore punk, and contains a lot of the trademarks of modern metal, such as distortion and shrieked/screamed/growled vocals, so I would label it as metal. BFMV do suck the major phallus as creators of music though.

I also do like Trvium, Bullet, Avenged, Grave Digger, Children of Bodom...It's a perosnal preference not liking straight growls, I like em subtle...as an accent to the music.
