  • There is no device appeared on Build Target Table :( .. How can I overcome this obstacle?

  • is this the last of these tutorials so far? i followed these but it seems to end at 4, and theirs like 200 android videos (irritatingly on a mac) so am i correct to think i should pick up on those and continue there?

  • @supersushi269 i think you can download each of the versions and tools individually in the sdk manager, make sure to get as much of that stuff as you can... the motorolla stuff seems to want a password so i didn't bother going to their site to get one

  • Where's the 5th tutorial?

  • @aidansbox94 bucky had a guy named travis from mybringback to create an entire playlist (200 vids) of android app development. u can still find it on bucky's channel. i think the guy is pretty good. he does some things better than bucky and bucky does some things better than him. its a trade-off but u will still learn

  • Where is the 5th tutorial?

  • hey bucky...after clicking on new project i din find any android option?? :(

  • i cant find the continuation of this Android series by Bucky....can anyone link me to 5th tutorial???

  • For 32-bit systems, the short name for the Program Files folder is Progra~1. For 64-bit systems, the short name for the 64-bit Program Files folder is Progra~1 (same as on 32-bit systems); while the short name for the 32-bit Program Files (x86) folder is now Progra~2.

    Enjoy Android!

  • "Invalid command-line parameter: Files.

Hint: use '@foo' to launch a virtual device named 'foo'.

Please use -help for more information" If you run into this error then follow these steps:

    1) Restart Eclipse.

    2) Go to Windows -> Preferences -> Android -> SDK Location

    3) At the box copy and paste the following line depending on your OS.

    Windows 32bit: C:\PROGRA~1\

    Windows 64bit: C:\PROGRA~2\

    Example: C:\Program Files(x86)\Android\android-sdk would turn into C:\PROGRA~2\Android\android-sdk

  • @landy1727 Nevermind... This is embarassing... just scrool down if u have the same problem

  • bucky, just a heads up for your audience, I was getting errors runing the emulator and I found out that there is currently a problem with R12 where the SDK location cannot contain any spaces. The default installation location: C:\Programme Files(x86)\Android\android-sdk has space which means that you have to work around the bug by changing the SDK location path in eclipse to C:\PROGRA~2\Android\android-sdk

  • Can I ask you something Bucky? When you decide to make more tutorials on Android and have to choose which application to make through lessons, please choose something else instead of Reminder application. There are bunch of tutorials, books etc.. which use this kind of app for demonstration.

    Thank you!

We are waiting your next Android tutorial..

  • i go ahead....

  • Comment removed

  • Where are the rest?

  • look just go to android folder in your program files and copy it in a place where no space in the path, in my case i just copied on my desktop, just make sure there is no space in the path, then go back to eclipse and change the SDK location to the new path of copied folder that u made. then run it, it should work for now. i think google said that it's a bug,

  • i am getting an errot

    what should i do

  • @TheMostafa1011 im getting the same error

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMostafa1011 Bug in recent version: SDK location can't contain any spaces. Fix by changing Program Files(x86) to PROGRA~2, or for me it was PROGRA~1. (in Window -> Preferences -> Android -> SDK Location)

  • @SatanFlaskanOchJag worked for me too. thanks!

(+PS- bucky really should continue these great tutorial vids. :) thanks, bucky!

  • @SatanFlaskanOchJag I was about to write this, but saw that you already did. Thumb it up so that people may see it.

  • Nice videos Bucky, when do you think the next video will come out? I am just starting to program in Android, hopefully this month??

  • bucky , please continue this tutorial set : D ,

Come on man , move on with it : D

  • sad, but maybe he will get to making part 5 after the unreal engine tutorials.

    I really hope so.

  • I tried looking for other videos for Andriod development and they all suck. Bucky if you can make me understand c++ without me getting all confused when the topic of polymorphimum and pointers came along. Then you are the only one who can teach these Andriod tutorials (and perhaps you can teach me how to spell to)

  • i get that first error and it doesnt go away

  • Thank you sooooo much for these tutorials :D

Can't w8 to see the next tutorial.

  • it's sad that Bucky will never teach release tut #5. if somehow he will release it, it wont be for at least another year.

  • @vibol03 Vibol its not going to take up to a year for it to be released how long do you think it takes to make the next tutorial -.-?

  • @srvztube i think bucky wont be back to android for at least another year because he has so many other different things to teach :(

  • @vibol03 I really don't think it matters too much, there are many other great video tutorials or books you can read. He just gave us the beginning start up which is good enough for me since now I can at least start the actual coding in Java O.o

  • Bucky!!! Please start up with the Android tutorials! There is a massive rise in Android Development and you don't wanna miss a chance to cash!

  • Hi, Please continue the tutorials...I can't find continuation of this vid. Thanks.

  • Hey Bucky! One suggestion, let the android emulator run for a while till it boots up. The android with the under-slash was not the program. That's why u got the error of "home not responding". Keep them up man. I love ur vids.

  • Bucky, your tutorials rule - but you already know that. Anyways, I've been looking online for a while now on how to use the GPS MANAGER to GETSPEED, but have found little help. Example code that I have found differs from activity to activity, and usually is accompanied by other functions I have to fish through. COULD YOU PLEASE WRITE A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO USE THE gpsManager TO getSpeed values. Please and thank you. (p.s. I know it comes in meters/second, but I'm not too concerned with convert)

  • Hey Dude! where's the tutorial 5? C'mon....

  • Give me Starcraft

  • can't belive that i have wasted my money to buy handy with android operating system

  • Bucky, it is also notable that you can bipass the whole emulator ordeal, by plugging your android phone into your computer and setting it to debuggable. Then every time you press run it takes about 5 seconds to push to the phone, instead of the sucky emulator.

  • @tomsfacts Not every one has Android phone but still want to develope an app for it. Like me :)

  • @tomsfacts How would you do this in a tablet?

  • @tomsfacts Could you show me how to do that? thx

  • @tomsfacts Thats incorrect, you would still need the eluminator along with the android version,if you didnt you wouldnt be able to run it at all,it will give you errors.

  • @tomsfacts And what is with all the guys who don´t have a android phone?

  • Bucky is god.

  • Hey Bucky, love this tutorial! Can you make some more?

  • Hey Bucky, love this tutorial! Can you make some more?
