I never used the film in that room either!!! and a cobra!? wow, I missed some parts for sure. glad you are doing this walkthrough/playthrough there Seb
I tried this out from the games you sent me Seb. I was getting wrapped up in the game but after going to the doctor and him telling me he couldnt really do anything for me except tell me what I already knew. I kept laying down on the bed, getting dressed, going back, getting up again. I felt stuck and I think I gave up after that :( I think I was doing something wrong for sure. looking forward to you telling me the way to go through these videos, excellent Seb.
@lukemorse1 Completely forgot that this game also went your way Luke! Cool! I probably send you the Dutch version though, hope it wasn't to disorienting haha. It's a fun game, but it is very easy to get stuck as well. That film on the painting bit is very important too, as that opens up a new location. So it's no wonder that you got stuck :)
Hieroglyphs? What? Those don't look one fucking thing like Hieroglyphs. More like the roman alphabet in a weird font. (future self: Oh, now I get it.)
Natasha huh. You can tell they really worked hard coming up with THAT name. Also, in what country is the prime minister crowned king in the event of the previous king's death? That's what "his successor" makes it sound like.
This seems like an interesting game, but man is it cheesy.
@Mechazaurus You've heard nothing yet, the amount of cheesy dialog and over the top accents in this game is off the charts! It's quite hilarious :)
The game makes very little sense, but it does have some neat puzzles in it. Opalia does sound like a really odd country with weird laws that would never fly haha.
@Hollander113 It has some very tough puzzles to figure out, plus it's very slow moving... it took me a while to complete it back then too, and I did need some help at some spots (from the CD-i magazine).
@DestroyTheMedia I wanted to post that today, but it seems I messed up again :( My voice recording of today got all messed up. Will be up tomorrow, sorry!
@AtsumaKarin It's not the best out there, but I've seen worse too. It's kind of interesting really and has some decent puzzles in there too. Hope you'll like the tour :)
@MrVenom1974 The controls are slow and sluggish, mainly caused by the immense slowdown the game tends to suffer from. The inventory management also takes some getting used to. If you can see past those elements though, it plays fairly well. The slow down can get very frustrating though!
@MrVenom1974 The slow down is much worse when there are more objects on the screen. So far, it's not as bad, but at some points of the game it's pretty bad. I do still recommend the game though, it's one of the better ones for the CD-i.
@gentlevader Most likely, yeah. I've finished that up a while ago. It might have gotten eaten up by YouTube's hungry subscription boxes that were messing us all up then... now... tomorrow... you know, always :D
@HalfBlindGamer Man that sucks! I am going to go back and search for it. I was way into that series and I don't want your patience on that really crappy game to go down the drain.
@RetroShinigami Most voicework is somewhat decent in the game, but Jeff sounds just awful! I'm not sure what they were thinking when recording that, often times you can barely make out what he's saying! Most other characters are easier to understand, but they put on thick stereotypical accents. It's cheesiness level is through the roof, but that makes it more awesome (=hilarious)!
Well, that's Jeff really depressed me now, 14:12 "Gee, there's something inside", and me always getting sent empty envelopes :-(

@lmcgregoruk Jeff is great at stating the obvious, not the brightest of the bunch...

Among quest game standards. This makes Roger Wilco/King Graham seem normal compared to Jeff haha.

Man, those are some half-assed phoney accents.

This looks like a pretty decent game, Seb. Not quite Monkey Island standards but still pretty decent. :)
I shall definitely look forward to future parts of this one, I likes me a good point n click adventure game! :D
