I wasn't being negative, exactly. It's better to give honest advice and observations than to say, "Wow, great job." and leave somebody unknowing of problems in their works that they can fix. I love it for instance when people point out flaws in my work, time and time again it allows me to revise what I'm doing when I otherwise would just continue.
