  • i love how nobody can kick or do anything else. i love martial arts but not this crap

  • I am not impressed with lavallee's because i've whatched there coconut creek locations and they are told to do things that makes them look idiotic and like they have no idea what they are doing. They do not teach real martial arts, Just a load of crap

  • i have a demo today at the ymca lolz my first demo

  • I added this video to my favorites by accident. Sorry.

  • I saw a boxing game held by them. Dang they're good in karate AND boxing. I have so much respect for these guys. Hell to the yeah!

  • That was pretty good I've got to admit. But check out the Barrett hapkido videos and then click on the related video called spiderman vs. Venom demo. Spiderman is played by a Barrett hapkido student named Blake and he is awesome as well as what he can do. It is also an awesome Barrett hapkido video.

  • I do KENPO AND martial arts mixed so

    this demo is cool

''some body can tellme the name of the song in this video"(Demo) tanks

  • nice 540 at 2:37

  • i think that was actually a valentine kick

  • It's pretty cool that you got to do this at an Arby's.. of all places..

we are lucky if we get to perform at our park or something.

  • im in this i droped my numchuck

     ops

  • More like SPECIAL ops!

  • So, i have to say that it looked like power ranger stuff, but i'm not sure how negative you can take that since i also saw two things that i had to see again cuz it looked so much like what i'm learning...

  • You say that this isnt real karate, and demos in America dont normaly consists of "real karate" they are ways to entertain and most people want to see flash so that is what they consist of

  • what is this? This isn't even Karate at all. Please come to Japan and learn real karate.

  • i don't know who you think you are but this video doesn't show have of what the people and lavalle's have to offer. those black belts are some of the most hard working people i have ever met and it is karate, if you really knew half of what karate was about you would know that just because it doesn't look like what you do or what you've seen doesn't mean those people didn't work hard for their belts and everyone of them deserves them.

  • Okey. first of all. I am japanese and have done Goju karate for 11 years and kyokushin for 2 years. I have 3rd black belt in Goju karate. I respect that these people have had a lot of training and which is good. However, it seems this Lavallee karate is misunderstanding what karate is about which i am sad. i hope you learn more about karate.

  • i do plan on learning more about karate, and i plan on doing it through lavalle's. i didn't mean to bite your head off but the people at lavalle's have helped me alot and they are good friends to me and this demo really doesn't show much of what they can do at all.

  • That's very good. i just said it's not Karate. This lavalle's is surely mixed martial art. The uniform design looks like from Taekwondo. and i can see so many kicks that Karate doesn't have. also how to bow and so on. Karate is one of martial art and it has own history and techniques. I don't say which martial art is good or bad. all martial arts have good points and bad points. so if you like lavalle's, go for it.

  • it is mixed martial arts but %99.9 of people don't call it mixed martial arts they just call it karate. i'm only a yellow belt right now so i don't really know how to tell them apart. lol

  • okey. i guess it's very difficult for Americans to understand what karate is about. so i hope you visit Japan someday and see real karate through your eyes. Empty Hands = Karate.

  • 3:54 LOL!

what kind of kick was that?

  • Very well done demonstration!

  • im in this vid. i drop my numchuk it was sliprey

  • but you kept going like it was nothing witch is what matters, you honestly can't tell on the video unless you look really close

  • those guys were awsome, hope to see more!

  • what if you wanted to go to Arbys was it still open on 57 that day.

  • yes arby's was still open that day and the customers that was going into arby's had the chance to watch the awesome demo!

  • awesome video ous

  • the minimal age to get an black belt is 14 the most are not even 10 or 13 so how can they wear black belts, its an disgrace for the pp who realy earned the blackbelt.

  • first of all every one in that video earned their belts some of thoes kids started training when the were 3 and 4 years old

  • even when they started on that age u cant get it earlier then 14. that's the real age limit. so maybe u guys got an other belt system as us or u guys arent ifk listed.

  • the ppl who dint wear shoes mustve been die-hards... that musta hurt

  • you don't even think about being barefoot, you are concentrating on what you are doing, you don't realized that you are on hot pavement! what it is, is mind over matter! and plus they all are used to it!

  • They did pretty good. Even though they mest up they kept going which is really good. The insructers really drill that into are heads.

  • Which location do you train at? I earned my black belt at Cicero in 94.

  • Liverpool Dojo.Earned my first black belt in 2004 aand earned my 2nd degree in january with sensie hafner and kyoshi andrello.

  • it was the one on 57 i dont take karate but u can tell it was that one

  • that was at clay i ramember that spectacular i got my black belt dec 96 clay dojo
