I just learned that Straight pipes are not very good to use. Thats why they are illigal in the USA. They remove the catalyic converter and some other stuff just to make the car sound a lot better. I think it sounds good, but I will never use it.

@Silver6533 That's the same here in Italy, it's not a legal exhaust, and if we talk about performances if you make this exhaust you lose some HP and NM, every exhaust made is optimized for the performances, with straight pipes you just remove everything to make the sound louder

Straight pipes are the fastest flowing type of exhaust.. Why do you think most race cars run straight pipes and no mufflers? If you run a muffler, make sure it is the straight thru design and not a looping one.. You don't want back pressure when you're pushing out a lot of power..

Also grow some balls, over in Australia, virtually everyone into cars, does not run a cat converter or many mufflers at all.

beh il rumore della F430 è una sinfonia !! anche se non so quanto convenga lo scarico così aperto, a livello di prestazioni pure. Forse perde qualcosa, perchè gli scarichi originali sono sicuramente ottimizzati per il massimo delle prestazioni. L'unica cosa che toglierei è la farfalla che credo sia a 4500 (come sulla V8 vantage), forse anche a meno.

p.s. certo che la corvette in rettilineo ci da dentro...

No un'aumento dei cavalli non può comportare un cambiamento così radicale del sound.. provabilmente ha lo scarico diretto, ha praticamente tolto qualsiasi " ostacolo " che vanno dal motore ai terminali come ad esempio il silenziatore. E' lo scarico nudo e crudo così senza qualcosa che gli impedisca di poter esser più docile come sound.

@Tunerboy8732, it is just my opinion, I've never driven an F430, but I think what you are hearing as "raspy" is the driver is in the wrong gear for the entire video. The driver needs to be taking the corners up a gear or two...not where they are. You can see the folly of it on the exits when they keep losing control...too much torque. What they need to do is be up much much higher in the revs...and use horsepower to drive off the corners NOT torque, then they can do controlled slides.
