Hey, Pete to be safer on condition one. When you clear the the round, don't rack the slide from the front. You had part of your hand in front of the muzzle. Clear it, racking from the back of the slide. Just one more safety precaution.

I've got five mags for my 36 and all have the Pierce +1 extension. When I put in 7 rounds, I always get a FTF when the gun cycles on the first round. The first round chambers fine by hand though. Can't figure it out... I think it is just too tight with 7 rounds, 6 rounds no problem. Interested in what your experience is at the range. I usually don't carry 6+1, but ALWAYS carry an extra loaded mag with me. luv your vids man!

Be careful with that condition one man. Not entirely sure you knew or not since you're new to it, but chambering the same round many times can cause bullet set back, where the bullet gets seated too far into the case. Which of course can cause all sorts of pressure problems for you when the round is fired. So just switch that bad boy out once in awhile as you rotate them through your mag.

Pete if your gonna carry +1 with your 6 round mag in, why do 5 +1? why not 6 +1? No disrespect, just wondering why at the beginning of the vid when you cleared your weapon why you had room in the mag to put the +1 round back in. Let me know your thoughts, you may have a good reason? Is it because when you carry to capacity its difficult to fit the mag in? Sometimes with my glock 27 a full mag +1 in the chamber is difficult to fit in.
