Wonderful performance! Spectacular brass section! I had never heard this group before and was so impressed. This performance exceeds by far many really big-name groups.

Bravi! Excellent performance, with a good Mahler "feeling" to it. Excellent orchestra, particularly the wind and brass sections. Fantastic 1st trumpet... My only criticism: the Adagietto movement was too slow. Otherwise excellent. Bravi, bravi...!

I didn't have the highest expectation for the orchestra when I first read the details, but their performance is quite impressive! Barcelona just blew past many know orchestras on my list of note-worthy groups....

I was lucky enough to play under Eiji Oeu in 1987-1988 when he was conducting high school youth orchestras in Boston and at Tanglewood. Awesome, unforgettable conductor -- particularly when we did Rite of Spring.

Eiji Oue is a great conductor. I heard do this work with National Orchestral Institute (NOI) at the University of Maryland several years ago. The young players loved him.
