Pete reminds me so much of the Strokes' frontman Julian Casablancas in this video. The way he is spaced out and has that 1,000 mile stare, absolutely brilliant song.

They may look similar but Peter's voice is vastly superior. The weak thing about the Strokes is the poor quality singing. It is not a technical issue it is about soul and spirit. Peter and Carl have so much more.

Fair enough- ish! Different strokes for different folks but I still contend that Peter has an excellent voice. I'm not technical enough to tell whether he is in key but he touches me on an emotional level more than any other rock singer I know. His voice is also loud and strong. He manipulates his voice. Just listen to Horror Show or the Sweet By and By to get an idea of what I'm talking about. I confess I am probably too hard on Strokes.
