  • Best version..this is how i want to play. THank you for your time and bless your kind your soul.

  • very nice

  • Is that an Everly Brothers style Gibson? or Cat Stevens? Your videos are excellent learning aids, keep em' coming. I also love your collection of guitars. I play a Martin HD-28 right now but many of the guitars you have are on my wish list. Cheers!

  • @folkmusicfan That's an Everly Brothers (J180), which Cat Stevens also played.

  • god i hate when the stones always change their damn tune. Christ, now I won't even bother learning it. Such a pain in the ass to switch around.

  • Your body language shows you having a great time ha ha. great video/lesson!

  • wait a sec....that is jagger

  • you nailed jagger

  • I considered doing a gig like this, but now that your pushing 1000 vids, hell! whats the point.. Good job, keep giving back..... Going to guess your in banking, I.T. or legal field... Oh! I love your PUPPY, need to put him in more vids

  • is the guitar in a different tunning

  • @42guitars Open G: DGDGBD. I usually remember to post the tuning notes in the info box.

  • @MrCHARLESCHANNEL, @tingly7654321,

no, he isn't singing, that's mick jagger

  • @LeFtNuT2o6 No, I'm singing. And playing both guitar parts simultaneously. And you can't see it in the video, but I'm also balancing a stack of porcelain tea cups on my head. Next time, I'll widen the camera angle so you can get the full effect.

  • @privettricker Hahahahahahahaha ... brilliant ... BUT .... where's the simultaneous lapdance for me?

Love yr playing, yr guitars and vids, especially showing the chords so clearly to the camera (in another vid). And blast the unequality that (most) men simply have bigger hands hence longer fingers ... grrrr. :D

  • are you singing ?

  • very nice great playing are you singing as well?

  • Hey man, I love watching your cover tunes! I love the house too! LOL....

  • Your really good....

  • @crash0033 I'm working on it....

  • Thank you so much. i cant tell you how much i love your vids. you inspire me to learn new songs and to become a better musician.

Ps we almost have the same exact musical tastes

  • what is the chord at 5:25 after you bar on the 5th fret?

  • @5starvidz4u I've already posted a complete lesson on how to play it. Search my channel.

  • this dude is the best at lessons other are just plain stupid keep it up man could you do a lesson on the needle and the damage done by neil young or come and go blues by gregg allman??

  • Once again a very good video from you.I thank you a lot for postings this great vids and I learned a lot from you already.I have start learning to play in open G as well.

First i played along with you with standard tuning and it's not so bad too but of course in open G it's the best .

    Greetz from Belgium

  • Thank you, so happy now :-)

  • Very nice, best on the tube. Very easy, and corect sound. Going from the open G to your two finger, 3rd & 5th fret isn't working for me. Not sure why, sounds good when you play it. Maybe it's me, Naawww! Still, great job on a timeless classic. Thanks...

  • Very nice, best on the tube. Very easy, and corect sound. Goint from the open G to your two finger, 3rd & 5th fret isn't working for me. Not sure why. Still, great job on a timeless classic. Thanks...

  • Haveing hard time with the 2 cords @ 1:30.......just doesn't sound similar...frustrating.

But your cover is the best to follow if some one wants to play it the way it sounds. Theres a lot of covers/lessons that just don't sound similar to the real thing.

  • @kevbo7s I've posted a separate video that's a complete lesson of how to play it.

  • Nice cover man! Congrats!

  • very good...... for open tuning...... vocals are very good...... Just wondering where you got the backing the track? * is it from the original song ? * sounds like it's coming in and out a bit but definitely a nice version buddy!!! Pls check my version out if you get a moment,,,,, I just uploaded it and it's strictly just two acoustics, piano and strings, no backing track,, * I hope you enjoy it though * Peace as always~! • wow all i can say

  • Awesome vids. May I ask what camera you use?

  • nice

  • bravo veramente

  • Best cover of Wild Horses I've seen. I know it's a hassle but it would be cool to get the chords you're using. Thanks for all the videos you post.

  • @jaguarJS I posted a tutorial a while ago.

  • @privettricker Thanks! I didn't see that before. I also noticed that it is not in standard open G tuning.

  • wish i learned how to play this on guitar

  • @nygisgod well he's got a lesson of it....put some time into it i'm sure you won't regret it.

  • @LeBuckeye to busy with school and hockey, i have a guitar its my brother its broken!

  • Mr. Dude, many thanks for all the great tunes you put up. I dig your style.

  • superbe, dommage que ce ne soit pas une guitar lesson! ;-)

  • @labouille69 I'll try to record a full-blown lesson. This song may be tough to explain in less than 10 minutes, but I'll give it a shot.

  • Super gut Mann.

Schade nur, das man kein Daumen hoch geben kann, würde mich auch echt mal interessieren warum diese Funktion ausgerechnet hier deaktiviert wurde.

Nette Grüße und damke fürs Reinsetzen.

  • I agree with puma7711. Right on man!!

  • Best guitar cover of Wild Horses on Youtube. Thanks for a superb lesson. What brand guitar is that? It reminds me of a Neil Diamond Epiphone which has a similar shaped pickguard and star shaped inlays on the neck.

    Kudos to you bro.

  • @puma7711 Thanks for the kind words. That's a Gibson Everly Brothers (J180).

  • beautiful sounding guitar,i just watched roger daultrey playing the same model on a livr who concert, very nice everly brothers model .thanks for the post ,keep on rockin man

    Gold rings on ya!

  • could you email me the chord shapes you used? the fingering. this is an awesome version. i love the open g tuning.

  • 5 Stars

  • cool!

  • Very good!! Interesting sound on the Open G tuning, sounds so clean. Do you know if the original is played on standard or G?

  • @Jackts9999 Keith is certainly in open G on the original version.

  • Beauty!

  • Another good one, Thanx. You have mucho guitars! Did you rob a music store??

  • @kammhron Just save my pennies, bro.

  • Well done! In Open G no less! Y da man.

  • Nicely done

  • ...whew......thank god!

  • I think if I tried to play Stones on an Esteban, it would self-destruct.

  • is that an Esteban???

  • An Esteban? Uh...no. That's a Gibson Everly Brothers.

  • cool, I never knew he was using a Nashville tuning on that song, thanks!

  • It's easier to hear it on the version stripped of the overdubs.

I'd swear he also uses it on You Got to Move (which was recorded at the same sessions in Muscle Schoals during the '69 tour).
