  • I knew the song was about ST. Dominick but that was it. Thanks for the translation!

  • @lenaj2454 ... it's a bit different than the french version, but still the same message

  • Thank you for posting, great song

  • Thank-you for finding this in english, it brings back happy times.

  • I have loved this song for years. It was nice to sing the english lyrics with the song. This song has my soul.

  • Dumb lyrics, cute song at the time but only in French...the original. This version sucks!

  • Köszönöm, hogy feltöltötted! Egy gyerekkori élmény kapcsolódik ehhez a dalhoz! A középső bátyám miközben a metélt tésztát ette, ennek a dalnak ritmusára szedte fel a tésztát a villára, és közben az első sorát énekelte. Ettől nagyanyánk mindíg mérgesd lett, a mai napig sem tudjuk miért? De még a délutáni iskolába menet, a bátyám még az ablakból beénekelte az első sort! Ez körülbelül 1966-1967-ben történt.

  • Great song!!! Needs a fiddle & a steel guitar & either Alan Jackson's or Toby Keith's lead guitar. 5,000 sstars for the video.

  • I loved it when I was young and was very happy to hear it again. Thank you, so much. I have no idea, what's it called, but you did a wonderful job, with the "cue cards".

  • God, my Sunday School teacher was freakin obsessed with this damn song AND with the French version too!!!! To this day I still find myself sometimes humming or sing it!!! It's good but it drives me crazy!!!!

  • My sis name is Dominique so I always sing it to her just the part dominique nique nique

  • The spirit of the organizer.

  • Thank you very much, it has been about 50 years I have loved this song, not knowing the words. I was so sorry when it was taken off the air back then, I understand the lack of reverence for the Lord when they were dancing to this tune. Today I wrote down the words, the words are as great as the music. I have had that tune in my head for several days, so I check it out and here are the words - again - thank you very much. I am James Elmer :-)

  • @jameselmer77 ... you are quite welcome ... i didn't use a proper program to record the record(45rpm), so the sound isn't very good

  • Growing up I had the Singing Nun album and I loved this song!! But I never had a clue what was being said. Now I know...40+ years later!! *grin* thank you!!

  • thats mi name

  • Good attempt
