Weather or not you like what happened at the start of Alien 3, you can either stop complaining like a littlbe baby, or just try to understand what situation they where going in when they made that choice. Do you think Ripley would have really killed herself if Newt/Higgs surived? No, and becasue she did, that left the door open for Alien Resurrection. Although, I do agree, it would have been nice to leave the ending to Aliens alone, but they didn't, get over it.
Alien3 was a bukkake across the cheeks of all fans of the Alien series. Killing off Hicks and Newt (and let's not forget Bishop) was one of the strangest film directions I have ever witnessed.

Watching AVP 2, I was like, the Aliens look stupid running around a modern day city.
Now if Earth looked all futuristc and shit like the colony was in Aliens, then maybe I would of taken the story more serious.
I think the key thing is.. The Aliens have to be in control. If the Aliens own earth and your seeing it from that prespective then its cool.. but when it just one alien running around Earth it's just silly.
it was because sigourney weaver was the co producer and she didnt want the movie to have a "family agianst the monsters' feel. but i agree, they so fucked the whole alien series
well you should play the game I told you about.its for ps2 and you get to be kyle reese and get to fight the terminators from the future. its awesome trust me. get it on ebay.
that game sucked, it was really badly scripted and was full of plot holes. sorry but i don't just like games based on movies just because they show you things you expect to see. wow you fight terminators in it, really no shit. you get to play as kyle reese, wow (sarcasm) it's set the future, well duh.
