hey could someone please get back to me if they know the answer to my problem, it seems likes its a simple fix...but i cant figure it out or find out how to fix it. When im creating a bassline, or even a drum beat, i cant seem to figure out how to a). make the note start WHEN I WANT IT TOO, meaning, ill record the beat to how i want it, but when it plays back its always on beat 1, 2, 3, 4--no matter what. @bobskimanic I have the same problem, he wanted to say that when u showed us the Pattern with the DL_Halftime,DL_RideBreak,FLS,F­LS,FLS,..... etc. there were 6 loops, and when u right click on DL_Halftime and u opened the piano roll suddenly there were 8 notes with different names (Snare, HitHat, HitHat, Snare etc... ) Do the tutorials a little better by putting some instructions.......

@lukeyyyygo to the step sequencer and insert a fruity slicer. Then go to a drum loop you like and insert it to the slicer.. This is just one way. You can use FPC but thats a different thing..

Where can I get a video that actually explains how to do this. It's hard to follow with all your camera zooms and light speed usage. Great video and awesome beat. It's obvious you know what you're doing and it's nice to see someone make something from scratch instead of using premade loops. But, a beginner and lover of DnB like me needs something slower and more of an explanation.

@TARDPRODUCTIONZ112 now then mate, yeah i can help you there, theres loads of ways to do this! you can just simple turn all the other stuff down, but that can make it to low, so maybe do that then turn the master up,.. the reson i say turn it down is cause you can make it sound like there is to much going on by pushing the sounds out to much. if you really wanna turn it up try using, (i'm going to have to open up FL now lol) its called fast dist.. umm there is more but its late.. comment again

@xGunno WHen you add your sounds into the mixer, turn the volumes of each drum sound down, then create a SEND in the plugins on the right side of the mixer (send 1, 2 ect) Then you can apply efx's to all the sounds through the sends. In fl studio go to help and search SEND. It will show you how to it.

@xGunno Once you have the FX you want on the instrument you want (snare, kick, hihat etc...) you gonna want to click on the channel of the next instrument that you want to have the same FX. once you click it, the small window "channel settings" will show up. You then want to go to the top right hand corner of that window where it says FX underneath a small box with 2 hyphons in it. click and hold on that FX box and drag it up to the number of the FX channel on the mixer. repeat on the whole kit.

At the top, near the play, stop record button, Just right the right of it is the tempo. When you highlight it there will be a little arrows, hold down the mouse button and u can scroll up or down. Hope that helped.

Like he said, if you copy and paste without scrolling the Piano Roll over, then it'll paste the note exactly where the copied note is. In that case, move the note you pasted, it should be right on top of the copied note.
