I use to be a God fearing Christian. I was going to North Greenville University, but Satan took hold of me, and made me changed my life. I transferred and changed my major. I pushed away all the godly people in my life, and began to follow the sinners. I was rejected by the sinners many tines, and was accepted by the saints. I constantly pushed the saints away, and always when my "friends" shunned me, the saints were there for me. God is there in many ways. Always even when you struggle like me.

during the summer i went to a church camp (Falls Creek) i was about to go across this really REALLY high rope course but was so scared i got up there and had to turn around because the girl in front of me wanted to get off i was scared when i turned around but a voice kept telling me to go on then this song came into my head and i sang it the whole way across and it gave me strength even though i was scared out of my mind this song made me realize i shouldnt be afraid because god was there!! :)

@ramseysr I know this response is late a bit delayed, but this is in response to your comment about drinking and smoking. Do not abuse your body, because, like you said, your body is a temple. No, drinking is not bad, just don't be a drunkard, like you said. (Although they drank wine in Jesus' day because the water was unclean) The Bible also tells us to follow the laws of the land (Romans 13:1-7). Underage drinking and doing drugs are against the laws of the land.
The voice of truth tells me a different story. The voice of truth says, " Do not be afraid! " What is wrong with our world today? What has it come to be? Even christians don't act like they should. I know at least 20 people who are supposedly "Christians " but they smoke, they drink, they cuss. People are turning away from God and they don't even know it. I am 10 years old! If I can figure it out, surely other people can. Like this so everyone can see it at the top of the page. Everyone needs it

This song is so good! It gives me the strength to go to school and not let my heart burst with sobs. God is so good. Espeically when he heals you. I have been healed like 5 times. Like my arm broken and my right foot bigger then left. Now that was a big story. It felt so fuzzy and warm. And I good tell God was in that room with a group of kids getting healed. After I got healed, I started healing others. It was amazing what God can do to a kid.

We need so much faith in some circumstances, but God will always be with us! For some people to have faith, they need a lot of different reasons for it, but others only need a little bit of reasoning to have faith! It doesn't matter what way you go with it, as long as you have faith and trust in God!

Thank you casting crowns for writing this song, i know you're inspiration comes from the Holy Spirit. He truly has blessed you with song. This is such a powerful song. I had a bad day today, and I listened to this and it uplifted me so much. BUT THE VOICE OF TRUTH TELLS ME A DIFFERENT STORY THE VOICE OF TRUTH SAYS DO NOT BE AFRAID AND THE VOICE OF TRUTH SAYS THIS IS FOR MY GLORY!!!!! i love this song it touches my heart every time i hear it i casting crowns and the lord is working miricles in their lives. he is the mighty king and he is awesome i may only be 17 but god has showed me my spiritual gift a healer of the broken hearted and i am going to keep casting crowns in my prayers lord i cover casting with the shed of blood of christ i place a hedge of thorns around them and worn agardin angel to protect them in jesus name i pray amen. godbless every one this year amen

smoking and drinking thats between them and Christ none of our buisness .Christ's first miracle was water to wine . And it was real wine not grape juice .The bridegrooms father asked why did you save the best for last. even Paul said have a drink don't be a drunkered.Smoking isn't even mentioned beside your body is the temple. I could use to work out more .how about you.Worry about ourselves not others.Lets get our beam out of our eye .So we can see the specks of others

@ramseysr I know this response is late a bit delayed, but this is in response to your comment about drinking and smoking. Do not abuse your body, because, like you said, your body is a temple. No, drinking is not bad, just don't be a drunkard, like you said. (Although they drank wine in Jesus' day because the water was unclean) The Bible also tells us to follow the laws of the land (Romans 13:1-7). Underage drinking and doing drugs are against the laws of the land.

The voice of truth tells me a different story. The voice of truth says, " Do not be afraid! " What is wrong with our world today? What has it come to be? Even christians don't act like they should. I know at least 20 people who are supposedly "Christians " but they smoke, they drink, they cuss. People are turning away from God and they don't even know it. I am 10 years old! If I can figure it out, surely other people can. Like this so everyone can see it at the top of the page. Everyone needs it

This song is so good! It gives me the strength to go to school and not let my heart burst with sobs. God is so good. Espeically when he heals you. I have been healed like 5 times. Like my arm broken and my right foot bigger then left. Now that was a big story. It felt so fuzzy and warm. And I good tell God was in that room with a group of kids getting healed. After I got healed, I started healing others. It was amazing what God can do to a kid.

@Stumperx I respect your opinion, but I have been walking with God for about 28 years, after becoming a Christian from a life of being an atheist. In that time I have experienced His provision, and healing of hurts and hangups that have been noticed and commented on by people who are not prof.essing Christians. @xxlovegodxx123 and on that day i will beleive in jesus. but right now i choose not to, and i try my best to enter a state of no suffering through the eighfold path, and the 4 noble truths, to eventually enter nirvana. Both of our ways of life, have a "heaven" but mine is different to yours, both in how we get there and what it is there.

i dont beleive in god or jesus, and im sorry if that offends you, i just dont beleive in "higher powers" i am more a beleiver in buddhist ways. however i love this song, for i choose to perceive it differently to that of a christian, spiritually not religiously. i think the voice of truth comes frm within us, not from god or jesus, but from our heart and soul, and it moulds and shapes us into humans, to form who we WANT to be by our choices and lifestyle, not what were MADE to be by a god.

ive been going to a VERY Christian school since pre-k i owe my faith entirly to my teachers now its my last year then i move to issaquah high when ever i hear this song it makes me be able to believe that i can keep the faith even when im not at private school any more !!!!!!!!
