  • Spirulina is not a "super food" ..you should research it side effects.

  • you are amazing!! thank you;.

  • Can't eat the nuts, it that ok. Nuts break me out.

  • What kind of food processor do you use?

  • I've made these now twice. They are fantastic but be sure to have water on hand as the carob and. Cocoa make you very thirsty! Other than than they are delicious!

  • Since when coconut oil is not vegan? It is from coconut, plant based....

  • I just made this. It's excellent, not to mention very easy to put together.

To those of you who feel the need to complain about honey or the coconut oil, STFU. No one wants to be neurotic and unhappy like you. The occasional raw gourmet dessert with an arguably non-vegan ingredient and some vegan fat...geez, who cares?

  • I never heard of half the ingredients you used..

  • Why do they have to go in the freezer?

  • super! lol

  • Honey is not vegan btw...

  • Haha, you say cocoa funny....but cute. What country are you from? Those look delicious. Im now compelled to check out your blog.

  • @ageovlove

First of all don't make absolute statements; coconut oil is good for you. It can help to stimulate the thyroid gland, it lubricates your organs, bypasses processing by the liver and instead goes straight to your blood as a source of energy, and is an excellent moisturizer for your skin and hair. Second of all I get really sick of people basing their opinion on something, when they have no knowledge of it and instead relying on some a-hole doctor. That doctor could and is probably i

  • I'd swap the oil and the honey (not vegan) for dates! Looks delish just as it is though :)

  • how do they taste?????? i dont want my mom to make something that idk the flavor of can some 1 please tell me

  • WAS LOOKING FOR PORTLANDIA CLIP

  • so, are those cashew nuts raw?

my mom told me cashews are poisonous if they're not cooked. . .

    hmmm. . . .

  • @g0pi3 no they arent

  • @g0pi3 ya mum is wrong mate

  • @g0pi3 i eat them as i speak

  • Natatsha, these look so scrumptious! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  • @barbcomm Coconut oil can solidify or liquefy depending on your climate. Here in Florida, my coconut oil is usually a liquid year-round, but in the winter it turns solid in the jar. You can easily "melt" it without losing any of its nutritional value by placing its container in a pan of warm water. It liquefies pretty quickly for use in recipes! :)

  • Is the coconut oil cold pressed a liquid because all I can find is a white solid?

    Thanks.

  • Hey! I was wondering where you get all these spices? Haha! Are they expensive? I'm a raw vegan living with a family of meat eaters:/

  • coconut oil is bad for everyone.

  • @ageovlove wrong, it is really good for you

  • @informationwarfare not according to nutritionists.

  • @ageovlove which ones? what have they said about it? I know its good for you, you just need to get cold pressed, raw coconut oil.

  • @informationwarfare well the Eat Right for Your Blood Type doctor has studied it's effect on your blood after you eat it and it's not good for any blood type. sorry, but just because something may have something good in it doesn't mean all around it is good for you.

  • why do you promote cacao?

  • can I do this by hand ?

  • Canadians are so into raw! Yay!

  • these look absolutely amazing. thank you natasha:)

  • Those look so good....I kept thinking of the SNL skit about ," The Schweaty Family Ball Recipe." :-)

My mind is in the gutter!!

  • Hello Natasha! Are there any substitutes for the honey that you recommend? I'm the vegan that doesn't eat it :p

  • @chibibrusselsprout5 Perhaps some sort of butter (non dairy like coconut butter). You might like to sweeten it a bit though.

  • @chibibrusselsprout5 use agave nectar:) also there's a coconut nectar out but i have never tried it

  • Hello Natasha! Are there any substitutes for the honey that you recommend? I'm the vegan that doesn't eat it :p

  • Great vid... I'm going to be making my first batch of chocolate tomorrow woo hoo!

  • wow these look fab! and I'm sure tastes great too

  • can i use olive oil instead of coconut oil??

  • @hajima45 i think the olive oil might give it a funny flavor, since it's a sweet dish, but you could try

  • Natasha, thank you so much for this recipe and video!! You saved me during my first week of eating raw. I was craving chocolate. I made these tonight and oh my gosh; these are out of this world amazing. I had to sub a few things, like I didn't have carob, but doubled cacao and didn't have spirulina. Thank you!

  • Just made these! Mmmmmmmm Yummmmm! i had added some coconut sap, and cinnamon for extra sweet...(didn't have enough honey) they are the best !!! Love your recipes Natasha!!!

  • best video on cacao treats ! thanks!

  • I'd suggest you eliminate the cashews and substitute with walnuts or macadamia nuts. According to Dr. Cousens and Dr. Robert Young, cashews are mycotoxic and should not be consumed. I've parted with them not too long ago.

  • Peanut too, right? Because I think peanuts and cashews are both legumes.

  • Just made some with mint and some with lavender! AMAZING! looooooove it :D

  • Just made these. The coconut oil I used was a semi-solid, my honey was more liquid than the video shows but all worked out. Mixture appeared crumbly after processing but came together very easily when I made the small balls. Very Yummy

BTW - Vegans could sub Blue Agave for the honey...

  • @425Krishna hi do they taste like dark chocolate or regular chocolate?

  • This looks delicious, but I'm vegan... what would you use instead of honey?

  • agave nectar

  • @genevievebouffard cool im a vegan too

  • Honey is Beegan HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @LifeOM ok?????

  • honey is not vegan

  • Thank you so much for the support!! Love it :)

  • are the hemp seed required? will it affect the recipe if it is omitted?

  • no problem, it'll be fine without

  • And please read Revelation 21:8 and Jeremiah 14.

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

  • Jesus is alright with me!!! :)

  • Please repent and love Jesus.

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Are you using whole or dehulled hemp seeds?

  • shelled hemp seeds (hulled)

  • That looks fantastic! I tried making dessert balls before- but the mixture stuck to my hands so much while I was trying to roll them. I didn't use coconut oil though. Is that the ingredient that keeps it from sticking?

  • Yes!! The coconut oil will bind all the ingredients-- just make sure the coconut oil is extra-virigin, cold pressed, organic!!

  • omG that food processor is mad fast!!

    This looks wholesome and great!

  • super yum!!! And thanks for the complement on my food processor, love it! :)

  • You are so angelic! Your food looks so nourishing and wonderful. Thank you for sharing this healthy treat with us! :)

  • OMG- YUM! They look beautiful on your plate stacked like that.

  • So Yum!!

  • Yum, I had something almost like this for my lunch, wink. I put in avocado and coconut kefir so it was like pudding. YUM YUM. Could live off that!

  • Yummy!!!

  • Yummmyyyyyy! Hopefully I can do that just using my vita-mix, I haven't purchased a food processor yet. I love the shredded coconut part- very cool!

  • Definitely-- you can make anything in the vita-mix!!!
