this song haunts my dreams, its like from the depths of my mind. it hits something so very deep in me. this is one of my all time fav sisters songs and i dont know why.....just so haunting and entrancing

another? hmm nothing to do with SoM but a nice one: in wich town was that 1969 big hippie concert been held?
@aslyan That has lots to do with the Sisters - the Stones gig was at Altamont, and the events of that day are covered by the documentary "Gimme Shelter" (The Sisters regularly covered the Stones' song of the same name).
The video of the 1985 Sisters gig at the Albert Hall is now titled "Wake, Choruses from under the rock" (a TS Eliot reference) - it was originally titled "Wake: Altamont, a Festival of Remembrance".
@aslyan I had it on my old laptop which has melted down, sorry such a late answer, I hope you have found it, but if you don't I could send it to you once I recover all the files from my hd.
@aslyan odds are that a copy of this picture in good quality is hard to find, since the inlay from Floodland itself(which is this picture) isn't best quality :)
@aslyan It's on a sort of floding poster in the "Floodland" LP. Lyrics on one side, this pic on the other. It's quite big, actually (twice the size of the album, horizontally, and the album size, vertically). Beautiful indeed. And it IS high quality. It's just that there's a "disturbance" in the pic because it's been shot with an analogic camera, using a high ASA rate film and only low naturali light.
There's a slightly longer botleg version around... if it's not on YT then I might upload... either way, I was obsessed with song for a long time... nearly wore out the vinyl... I even had record player that could play it at 16rpm.... now that was scary!
@Long23 I played Paranoia Paranoia by Bauhaus at 16 rpm and in the midst of the droning sludge you can clearly hear a Hawaiian Guitar played at normal speed!
Once I ws playing thios song to someone unfamilliar with it. Outside an ambulance passed with sirens wailing. He seriously believed it was part of the song.
But no matter what, this song is awfully brilliant!
This is like a John Carpenter soundtrack! Amazing, never heard it before, thanks YouTube and thanks for putting this up on the page, you would of never of heard this years ago without the internet etc. Amazing.
@Scopolan. It was a B side. The Sisters used to release 2-3 songs at a time on vinyl. The only 'original' albums were FirstLastandAlways and ReptileHouse.
