Thanks your Illustration was very clear and visually understandable. I've been wondering how I was suppose to properly be positioned for push ups, I desire a flat stomach and cut arms, although I can only do 3 push ups now I'm sure I'll get better (lol) Thanks again. your going into my favorites
@smilealwaysya nah man I have been working out since age 13 I'm 16 now and 6"4+ working out doesn't stunt growth, it all comes down to genetics, so work hard brother :)
Hello.. is it true that some people say it is not good for the youngster ( age around 13-14/15 ) to start workout hardcore to get ripped abs ?? some people said that it might stopped the process of growing or slow it down.. is it true? please reply asap.. :)
I was wondering. When ever I work out I get big. But I would like to get tight chest like you. Be slim instead of bulky. --- Any advice? Do you get a tight chest because you do pushups until fail?
@brightlights456X lols yea I've noticed that. There are ways to measure proportion and what not using special calculators. Just google "your fit assist" and you'll get an idea for what I mean. Its like they are trying to fit a cookie cutter look for all shapes and sizes of men based on old body building dogmas.
I think someone should point out this type of home working out will work great for Ectomorph body types only. If you are a Mesomorph or Endomorph you are gonna need added resistance to get gains =)
Do you know that Christianity is correct? The world around us reveals that G-d DOES exist, and the historical evidence reveals that Jesus Christ really did come to this earth and there is overwhelming evidence that Jesus Christ really did physically rise from the dead. Jesus is coming again and the signs of the end times that were foretold in the Bible are coming to pass.
i do push ups, but i only do like 30 every day and that's about it.
but I'm wondering if its working, how many sets do i have to do for me not to go AL the whey to 30 sets... your the best:)
and what type of foods you cumsome, plz whrite back when ever u can... keep up the good work. and make more videos like this, and but a video about your diet...
hello there, do you take any protein powder at all? i just started working out and i hear a lot about high risks of kidney problems if you use protein shakes, which kinda scared me, although scientists have never scientifically proven it.
@shaqibhussain Hey! You will start seeing the v shape after 6 months of consistent pull up training for sure, and do not forget to eat healthy! Regards
@thearchiveable he looks perfectly fine... hes got a slender build, which is what 90% of girls like rather than a body builder/huge build, and hes hott :P
Hi. Months ago I was going to the gym, and I was getting really good results, but then I get tired of gym and instead I'm just making exercise at home, push ups, abs, squats, etc. I really expected that the exercise at home will give me the same results, but unfortunately it doesn´t work. I dont have so much experiencie about that, but I can recommend that is better gym that just exercise at home
nice way to excerise but heres a tip: when doing push-ups never straighten arm all the way when going up, it relaxes muscles and u dont wanna relax the muscles other than resting or after workout =P
hi there. i typically do about 6 sets of pushups during a workout and i max out on each one. i never do more than 2 or 3 variations in one work out. hope that helps
no acidy foods such as oranges or bananas. you want to jstu drnk aout 2 cups of water. . eat in the morning andlunch a heavy carb meal - 60-80 carbs with fruits drink a glas sof water on the hour every hour. and you should be fine! p.s wter beofre thwokout is a good half hour time.. so 30 min b4 the workout
or could I follow a normal, more fruit/veggie/meat/whatever based diet with protein shakes after workouts?
I'd love to gain some muscle, but not a bodybuilder amount at all. I'm skinny though...so I need to gain some...and I want to know if I could gain AND MAINTAIN that muscle with bodyweight stuff. Please help! I'd appreciate it a ton.
I subscribed to your seven day thing, and it helped me out, but I still have questions.
I want to know if I can build muscle without weights and a gym. I don't want to be huge by any means, but I need to gain some muscle, because I'm super skinny. I want your physique, basically. If I were to do a routine consisting of push up variations, pull ups and chin ups, and maybe even squats and planks, could I gain muscle from that? And would I have to eat a crapton of protein and calories,
its not easy getting "huge", weights are the best equipment to stretch your muscles and and let it recuperate. Try a dumb bell press incline+decline, it's way more effective than a push up, since your an Ectormorph, your best to take proteins and do weights. You dont have any weight to push :) whats the point of push ups for u?
it´s not so much about sucking them in. Its more about keeping your core tight. "sucking in" has more to do with your lungs & diaphram, not your abdominal muscles. Hope that helps!
Great! I´m glad the videos are working. The only supplement that I use is MetRx Vanilla Protein Supplements. I never take more than one serving per day. It gives you a nice amino acid profile, vitamins, and a nice dose of protein. That´s the only supplement that I´ve ever noticed real results from. Most important thing is a diet of natural foods with high nutritional value... good source of lean protein & lots of fruit & veggies (raw if possible)
hey bud i just started working out .. are there more triceps work outs too and effective? i got lil gutt too you think while these work out would help lose that too?
I want to buy the MetRx Supplements that you use...can you tell me what to look for? Is it a meal replacement? Is it literally called "MetRx Vanilla Protein Supplements"?
find out where its sold such as GNC, hi-health, etc......and go in and ask about it. people there are very helpful. i take green tea extract cause it healps u lose weight and u have a HUGE energy boost.
before i bought a home gym, i always worked out like this and still add it to my work out routine, as it is quite effective.. though there is an easier, quicker and more effective way to build abs..anyway i was wondering if anyone knows of an effective back work out...?? please message me on youtube if you do.. thanks
The most important thing is getting in a routine of doing these exercises regularly and consistently. Don´t worry so much about the number of reps, that will build up in time... faster than you might think
Aim for about 100 pushups during a work out broken up over about 6 sets. You can do 3 sets of each position. On each set do as many as you can until you can no longer do another with the proper form. Don´t worry if you don´t get to 100 when you are starting out. In a couple of weeks, you will.
you gotta keep in mind that u have to change up the exercise often to see the results. Also, if you want a 6 pack, you gotta get ur cardio in to burn the fat. Doing crunches 24/7 aren't gonna do anything if you don't burn the fat on top.
Any pushup that you do is going to work out your chest and your triceps. The wider your hands are, the more you will focus on your chest. When you move your hands closer together and keep your elbows close to your body, you will focus more on the triceps. Keeping the elbows in is important.
yes, of course your "tits" work as well, but you isolate the triceps more as you tighten your stretch.. it's just like on the bench press.. if you widen the grip, you'll work your chest as much as possible, whilst having a tighter grip will cause you working on the sole triceps..
If you are feeling a sharp pain in your shoulder, skip doing the triangle pose until the pain subsides. That puts more pressure on your shoulder joints. You also might want to use a wider position with your hands for a couple of weeks until you build up more strength... just by doing regular pushups. In terms of the abdominal burn... you are really working the core and it's not the same as doing sit-ups. As long as you are keeping your body straight, you are fine. Use a mirror if possible
I heard that doing wights during your growth period stunts your growth. Is there any truth is that?

Why is so many people saying he is too slim? I'd rather the surfer/slender body than a bulky look.
For one, clothes will look better on his frame, than the `Hulk'.
Two more WOMEN perfer lean than massive.

what muscles are stressed when doing the triangle as opposed to normal push up?!
slick1785 2 years ago
i think having your hands closer together gives your chest more of a work out

wrong.. it's the other way around.. the closer the hands are, the more the triceps are affected.. having a broad stretch involves your chest more..
