I find our technology nothing short of amazing-- a reason to buy an I-Pad -- for now Sticking with what I have.. Technology is constantly changing and I believe for the 2012 year we will see massive change; especially in what we can and will be implementing in music.. We are in a music revolution. OMG!!! I get request timed out whenever I try to copy over the templates, so frustrating. I'm going to keep trying different network settings, but man am I pissed! Anyway, great work, I can't wait to use this once I can actually connect my iPad to my computer. Why didn't TouchOSC just use bluetooth to connect the devices?

@lenmetallica I just got touchable to work...and its really good...but its missing a sequencer....for that is better Griid....I know they are working on an update and they are setting up a sequencer and a xy pad....with that is a most have it!!!!

@mikrob That's exactly why profesional musicians moves to Novation or Akai, because they can focus only in music and it's like 5 milions better, ipad is a toy, akai and novation were made for pros. You can use your time with games, texts, internet and more :P

Speaking of rotating knobs, moving sliders and faders, etc etc, i'm still sure that a "physical" control is much better BUT after watching videos showing Touchable, TouchOSC, The Griid, etc i have to say that they are MUCH BETTER for launching/stopping clips and scenes whose names you can read on ipad screen. With APC40 (or launchpad) i always "get lost" and i need to continuously look at my MacBook ...

awesome. touch devices will invade dj booths pretty soon, with different shapes of surfaces, hopefully. it would be nice to develop an application that controls effects thru manipulating dynamic visuals with your fingers.

for djing, ableton has been quite boring, it's a hassle to find loaded tracks.
