I am 46 and still think I am a child when I hear this. Love it and Black Beauty which I listened to earlier. You never grow old when you have memories and boy did I have the best childhood, horses, wheelbarrows, wild fruit and a German mum. Goot yah x x x
If I here this opening,.. it feels,.. I´m 11 years old,.. watching "Follyfoot".. and after watching it.. going to my horse,. to ride my horse.. and feel FREE..
thanks for uploading the full version, love this haunting tune, used to love watching foolyfoot n wanted to hear the theme tune again for years ! like a friend said recently, was the time when acid folk was on prime time tv, how cool was that !!!
Thanks for posting this. I can't believe it's not available anywhere. I've ben trawling i-Tunes and so on, and this is the best place for it! Once again, thanks.
Kymfre01 (16 minutes ago) Spam Marked as spam i honestly think that children today would find these programmes from the 70s interesting or maybe i am just talking about my children. The high tech stuff of today is all well and good but it takes no imagination, just hearing the theme tune from this programme is enough for me to remember the summer holidays from my childhood and have a huge smile on my face
This came on in a pub this afternoon, while I was eating lunch. Everyone else I was eating with hated it, but being not Everyone, I had to investigate a little further!
wow this takes me back. I had this on 7" single vinyl. Listening back to it now - it reminds me of that crazy song that was sung on The original Wicker Man when they all danced round the maypole. It still takes me back to the good old days though. thanks for uploading. From England.
So viele Erinnerungen, wenn ich die Musik höre und die Bilder sehe, habe ich sehr nah am Wasser gebaut. Es war einfach wunderbar. Ich bin Jahrgang 1962 und ich werde diese Serie niemals vergessen.
I must have been about 5 when Follyfoot was on Zimbabwean televison and can barely remember it. But that song has stuck in my mind. Thanks for uploading this.

My mum and I are watching the 'Follyfoot' DVDs at the moment.
I wasn't born until 1981, so it's a bit before my time, but I love it!

Arthur English use to do a big cheesy wink at the camera in the credits.
But it doesn't half take me back!

i'm doing a module on theme songs and my mum told me to look this up.
She also said at the end of the series the lightning tree has a fresh bud on it, so it doesn't actually die. :)
