It's not a bed roll across the soldier's chest, it's a Greatcoat. The Coat the soldier wears is a 'light' walking out coat. The bed roll is on top of the pack. Some soldiers won't have bed rolls because the supply system for the Landwehr was a bit 'hit and miss'. Most won't have greatcoats, for the same reason.
I like the set - I don't quibble over variety of poses when I am having to paint up an army of 100+ figures. I like the fact that you don't have to assemble these, merely clean the mold lines and go! The MAJOR problem I have with this box set is that there was one figure who was almost impossible to remove from the sprue without snapping off his bayonet. Something I would have included in a review, but it could be you didn't remove these from the sprue before doing yours. In any case, thanks!
Just to pick up on a point about price; the Perry plastic boxes are all moving to a single price of £18 per box from 20 February 2011. However even factoring in the fact that the Perry sets will be £1 dearer than this one from Warlord, at between 36 and 42 infantry figures a box, the Perry sets are still better value.
@mrbeast85 Yes, Excellent Point. Butas you say, £18 for 36-42 multipose figures rather than £17 for 30 single pose figures (even if 3 are metal) - it doesn't represent the best value IMO.

Standard sized Regiment in Black Powder is 24 to 30 figures. Anything larger is unusual and called large. The majority of formations are standard.
