I just put a 35-36 C in my P 51 D and when I tested it I was getting about 800 watts with an APC 10X7E. The specs on the motor say that max amperage is 35 but I got readings as high as 76.8 amps. I'm using 2200 3s 25C lipos.
I flew it today with a 9X6, 2200 3s 25C, 60 amp ESC. It maxed out at 59 amps. It is crazy fast and will go vertical forever. The motor does not get hot anymore so I assume I'm ok.
Any idea what size prop and battery are being used? I have a modded P-51 like this but with clipped wings and tail with a 1100kv motor on 4s. It has to be at least this fast.

Nice Job on the vid!!! Unfortunately that landing took out my servo or we could of got some more passes in with the 3300 4s battery which puts out 250 more watts than the 3000 that was in it.

no way is that 131mph. I will need to see radar gun footage.. looked more like 80 to 90 mph.

Graphs at the end are from an on-board GPS system showing 1 pass at 131.8 and another at 131 flat.
