they did a good job of capturing the disease. My dad has it and everything in the ad brings memories I have of it's progression. Terrible disease I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

Such a fantastic job by ALS Canada for creating such a powerfull commercial. This should be broadcast everywhere to increase awareness.

When this first aired on TV, my dad actually laughed. That's how ignorant he is. In the movie "Knocked Up" there was a really crude joke making fun of Stephen Hawking who has ALS. It offended me, but im sure most people in the theatres laughed. This is all a part of the culture that laughs at the daily show which literally makes fun of torture victims with their little "Gitmo" puppet. As a whole, North Americans deserve to feel suffering so they can understand the finer points of comedy.
