AHHH! I explained this all before and it took like 3 posts to get it all in!!!!! Basically, In Shinto mythology, objects can gain a soul if they last 100 years, and come to life. Miku had two dolls that she loved, and were probably handed down from her Grandmother. she got a new doll, and when the 100 years was up, the dolls got souls and remembered Miku abandoning them. You can imagine the rest.

They intentionally pull you into he forest (1:12) and seduce you with treats(0:50), and make you dream pleasantly, they treat you well, but then they trick you, you ll have to pay them wih your soul/heart in exchange. If you stop at 3:15, it shows how it ended, Rin's arm has gone through Miku's back and the rose petals are flying away. The rose would've been where Miku's heart is and so thats how they killed her.
my interpretation from the lyrics and the video is that Miku as a young child lived in a grand house and had two dolls (Rin&Len), she than discarded them as she got older, they come to life (?) and lure her back to the house, which was in a menacing forest the whole time (?) to kill her. I'm twelve and if i got that at least sort of right i would be amazed. :P
@ArceusKid99 you got most of it right. When miku was younger, she had rin&len dolls but replaced them with a luka doll. They got sad/mad and missed her playing with them so they lured her back to the forest and put an illusion of her old house to kill her so her soul could forever stay with them since they were lonely and also wanted revenger for her replacing them.
It seems Rin and Len were Miku's two favorite dolls at once time during her past, but then she seemingly replaced them when a new doll that became her favorite (a doll that looks a lot like Luka), and they felt both abandoned and replaced, a dangerous combo...
So they lured her back after she'd grown up, but since she was no longer the naive, not-quite-as-easily-fooled child she had been, they killed her so she could never leave them again, or something probably similar.
At 3:17 the red rose pin is fluttering but still there, and Rin's hand is on Miku's back. The rose peels away and there's a rose petal on Miku's dress after and blood around her mouth. Len's little doll hand is bloody so... I'm thinking they just took her heart and she died of that.
i think, at the end, the rose is her heart (or source of life or whatever) and they ripped it off of her and she died. kinda weird/stupid if you ask me but at the same time very creative. Every story needs a weird ending to keep the veiwers puzzeled for a moment =)

So they lured her back after she'd grown up, but since she was no longer the naive, not-quite-as-easily-fooled child she had been, they killed her so she could never leave them again, or something probably similar.

At 3:17 the red rose pin is fluttering but still there, and Rin's hand is on Miku's back. The rose peels away and there's a rose petal on Miku's dress after and blood around her mouth. Len's little doll hand is bloody so... I'm thinking they just took her heart and she died of that.

i think, at the end, the rose is her heart (or source of life or whatever) and they ripped it off of her and she died. kinda weird/stupid if you ask me but at the same time very creative. Every story needs a weird ending to keep the veiwers puzzeled for a moment =)

@5Julie5A5H55 Several people have mentioned this before in earlier comments, and I somewhat agree with it: Miku's rose pin may be representative of her heart. And if you look at the end, where the rose was, her dress is all bloody. They could have taken her heart... or stabbed her in the heart with her pin... But I agree, I'm not even sure about the end and I've seen this video a billion times over.

@VampiressSilecene i think that somehow the doll are trapped w/ the human's soul because it shows little shadows next to the rin and len. It took me the fifth time to realize that the little shadows look familiar then i saw the dolls then it hit me. Lin and Ren's soul must been sucked in the dolls and the doll soul in Lin and Ren
