  • haha!

I love Great Lake Swimmers and their little Toronto references.

' spadina, st.george, bay and yonge'

    gotta love them!

  • Hey, Jay! Take that raised paddle near the end as my salute to you, your enthusiasm and your skills as a videographer. I have thoroughly enjoyed the 50-minute "Digging Water - The 2008 David Thompson Brigade". It makes it so much easier to share my trip with others. Well done!

  • July 12/08 To Jay - congratulations on your DTB videos, and on getting to old Ft William. Great job and paddling fella. We really enjoyed our part to Prince Albert; what an experience starting in the ice and snow of Buster Creek, near 'Rocky' to voyageuring the winds of The Battlefords along the North Saskatchewan, and the many great receptions along the way.

Pls say hello to all and to Munroe Kinloch at the lakehead.

Sincerely, Gord Thomson, The ALS Team

  • Cool! Thanks for this. Looks like John Lovelace from Wings over Canada at 1:10! I thought I was the only person who knows the Great Lake Swimmers, went to the library to see what the CD was like and there's a list of holds!!
