A beaten child often grows up and beats their children.The ego has become damaged , needs attention.They don't measure up start to compensate. Sometimes the beaten child has had that much pain that the ego is destroyed completely. this child wants nothing and realises that the abuser cannot hurt them.They become brave, and can sense fear in the abuser. The abuser finds a reason to stop .You see the abuser as weak in spirit. you forgive the abuser. You are strong vibrant and undamaged.
