eh its nothing compared to the hasidic chabad custom of the oral bris milah which i ain't gonna describe here but its also "long respected" in that um culture.
my 1st solo is consist of goat shit, spit with phlegm ,ripe fruits, urine of pit bulls, used oil, stained battery distilled water and old red horse beer.. yummy.
That looked like they drained some gasoline from the wing tank and put it into the bucket. In the USA, they just cut your shirt tail off and pin it to the wall of the flght school till you get your license.
i'm soloing tomorrow, and i am sticking with getting my shirttail cut, thank you. way more meaningful than having muddy tabacco urine water thrown on me.
This is a tradition for every single student pilot with their first Solo, you dumb idiots!!
ALL OVER THE WORLD haha...it's a nice experience....!! But urine ahahaha!
But even if it's a static propeller you need to treat it as it's live...that's pretty much wrong to touch it..what if there was something with the Magneto or you forgot it on, you want to be cut to shreds? even when I do my external check-list, I never go next to it!!!

That was the dumbest shit ever. Why not just cut the shirt tail like how it's supposed to be done? I'm supposed to be proud to be an FAA-licensed filipino pilot? Kinda makes me glad I trained here. At least I would know not to unnecessarily put my hands on the prop, not to mention putting my entire body within it's arc. Your CFI didn't mind you doing that either.
what is that damn plane doin in the background WTF
