But I have a theory (prob crap but hey!) - When they make a movie they wan't their voice on the soundtrack to seem as if kinda the character is singing it to show feelings etc... If you notice a lot of actresses and actors have sung on the soundtracks of movies which they are in or have made. They must just carry it on from there.
