Why not? If the effects are good it might save you a fortune. I suggest you listen to the radio 4 program on Placebo which stated that pacemakers that were not turned on for three months had a positive clinical effect in patients which amazed the doctors who put them in. Also that Sham accupuncture was much more powerful on irritable Bowel syndrome than ANY DRUG EVER USED for this! Just think what money could be saved if we all used Placebo a bit more

@ThirstyCharlie actually that is not true the mind is very powerful. why do western doctors dismis all other treatments as placebo but never research their own placebo effect? Because they methods also emply placebo too you know there are studies there that show this!
