Again it's been said Harper is no saint but his policys have pulled us through the worst global economic crissis since the thirtys and with the best economic outlook of the G7 he has proven himself, a NDP or Liberal government would tax all of us to death to pay for there social programs and if Ignatieff wants to talk about trust does no one remember the sponsorship scandal of the last Liberal Government!

The thing most of the commenters on here have to remember, it is better to vote for Ignatieff than it is for Layton because the Liberal platform does more for the majority of Canadians than the Con platform. That is to say, even if, as an NDP supporter, you like their platform better than the Liberals,' the Liberal platform is better than the Cons,' and closer to the NDP's, so strategically, it's better to vote Liberal

Wait a minute. After hammering Harper, who is no saint, with being dishonest and showing contempt for democracy, he's saying Layton's views don't matter because his party has never been elected. I'm not a lefty (nor am I a Harper supporter), but dammit, progressives, get angry. Screw electability. The NDP has done more to shape what most of us like about Canada than the Liberals or the Conservatives. All they do is pretend to be centrists to get elected and then rip off NDP ideas.
