@bugguy4 actually, the lightning fucked up his life-support systems in the suit...the armor itself was made out of a composite plastic that they called plasteel, and was no more of a conductor than the human body. But his breathing regulator got fried by the lightning, so he suffocated. Anyway, that's the only reason that Vader never overthrew the Emperor before and took control for himself, cause he wouldn't have had a chance with his disability. One little shock and he's dead in a few minuets

Vader and Palpatine killed each other.

Palpatine died due to being thrown down that air shaft, Vader died due to the massive damage his suit took from Palpatines lightning. As Vader said when Luke took his helmet off, he was going to die anyway. He died from the lightning.

actually Vader and Palpatine had a Force bond if Palpatine died so would vader.. reason they had a bond was palpatine learned away to give people alive with the force as said in ep3

Technically that's not correct. Palpatine said Darth PLAGUEIS discovered how to CREATE life through the Force, Palpatine himself was never said to have learnt the ability. Plus, no force bond between Palpatine and Vader was EVER mention in any of the 6 movies. Unless canon has been changed yet again, it was established that Vader died due to the damage his suit took.

In my opinion, Palpatine was one of the worst ones. Darth Revan, Darth Bane, and Darth Maul were the best.

Vader was a good saber duelist, but that's about it.

I think the only thing that went through Palpatine's head were two words - kill and jedi.
