Luke himself couldn't have done any better. Seriously, not only is this 3X shorter than the movie scene, but it's actually 20 seconds shorter than the Star Wars Trilogy arcade stage. He literally couldn't have done any better.

i really dont see why they took all that time at the end of the trench. why didnt they fly to the ponit where you shoot the rockets instead of taking the turret infested trench ha

@liveoak782 Because there are even more turrets on the surface, and if you fly above the trench, you die instantly.

I got 4:00 earlier in Ace Mode. =D The trench is so hard in Ace Mode because you can't just keep your x-foils closed, unless you're really good at avoiding lasers.

44 seconds, but I believe that it was 80% luck and 20% that I had been going for the gold medal for the last week. I swear, the gold requirements are worse than endurance, and I only got to wave 75 in the Buick!

Yeah, Rebel Strike sucks ass. All but one of Wedges missions were good (guess which one was bad) and all of Luke's campaign sucked. The Executor mission was cool, though.

I thought the missions with the most potential (but still lacked) were the Endor foot missions: The Speeder Bike Chase and the AT-ST mission. But yeah, I agree. Some missions like those could've been much better, and some were really well done.

Very good. I'll have to dig this game out and play it again to get some good speed runs on it. Do you have any good run throughs on Rebel Strike? The one stage I was able to get a good speed run on was the speeder bike stage, after a crap load of practice and memorization.

I hate hate HATE Rebel Strike. I am actually in the middle of a Let's Play of it right now on another site. That game...THAT FUCKING GAME...it's AWFUL, man.

Is it the on foot missions that piss you off? That was honestly the only thing wrong with that game IMO. I liked most of it except the on foot stuff. Horribly executed.

Nah, the AT-ST missions were mediocre, and even some of the flight missions were pretty awful (Raid on Bakura being the worst).

The foot sections were certainly the worst part of the entire game, though. When you factor in how much of the game is spent on foot...yeah.

I'm still convinced that Factor 5 was going out of their way to sabotage one of the best flight series' ever made. There's just no other possible explanation.

@SgtMustang Don't get me wrong, the flying levels in Rebel Strike are really good, it's just that the ground levels slowed the game down too much. Also Rogue Leader has a special place in my heart as the first game I got for my Gamecube.

Rebel Strike was a mixed bag, the flight missions were great, but the ground missions were absolute crap.

I agree with you, I won't go so far as to say it was a horrible game (because realy, if that's all we got, no rogue leader we'd be pretty happy) but set against the perfection and classic missions of rogue leader, RStrike was just a pitiful mess of a cash-in.

They should have ditched the on-foot missions, revamped the walker and speeder bike missions and included more classic missio

@Sukerface The only good part of Rebel Strike was that it had a 2-player version of Rogue Squadron. That game was the reason an otherwise amazing series ended.

I remember seeing it in a store on demo when it was new, and being a SW fan, I had to pinch myself. Sadly, I didn't have a GC back then. The game looks incredible for it's age.
