Street Fighter is an overrated series. It's ridiculous how much it's ruining the fighting scene and if you want to see a real master of Street Fighter 3, Kuroda could take Daigo around the blocks 3 times in a row within a minute. It's weird though, everything was peaceful in the fighting game realm. Then Street Fighter 4 came out and a bunch of assholes appeared... Hmmmm....

Who the Hell hasn't played it? Also, I never said it was bad. The only pile of shit in the series was Street Fighter 4. It was a disgrace and can you honestly even tell me that you'd play Street Fighter 4 if it wasn't Street Fighter 4? This isn't about good by the way, if I wanted to win, I would have chose Sagat or Ryu. I won with Ryu but the game was utter shit and you had to work harder with less reward for a lot of other characters.

@Siberianhusky89 That's what happened when the fighting genre was re-introduced into mainstream eyes. I was into SF back when Alpha 2 came out and into Tekken when 3 was new for PS. I can back this statement up, a bunch of new blood was mixed into the fighting scene and kinda brought it back above ground. Can't complain alot, tho, the new VS titles were built on the revenue that the SF4 series made, that's just more games for me. Hoping for Darkstalkers 4. :P

I suppose. I just think that the Vanilla Version of SF4 was a half assed, disgusting excuse for a fighting game that fell into the lap of mainstream people. Oddly enough, as soon as these people ate shit (My term for liking something that's horrendous. I use it for people who listen to Justin Bieber as well), the fighting game community turned into a majority of assholes who had long abandoned the genre. Thankfully, I'm not one of these people... though, I can be a dick "^^

@Siberianhusky89 Vanilla really was bad, I still don't know why I played it as much as I did. >_> I'm glad SSF4 came out, I can say that it did a much better job than Vanilla, and I still play it today. Justin Bieber is just flat out horrible, he's like the dirt on the bottom of my boots, rather, the dirt stuck to the BOTTOM of that dirt! I stick to my group that has stuck through the classic SF games that worked into next-gen fighting, and shut down the scrubs that play online. ^__^

Agreed. I think SSF4 is a much better game than SF4. It repaired all the things that should have been fixed in the first place. Rebalanced, better backrounds, better music, less bullshit. I mean, my friend thought it wasn't bullshit that Ryu does a 3 hit combo that destroys your health and if you use other characters, they do just as much or less. Also, you had to spend hours getting past his hadoukens. Anyhow, my favorite will probably always be 3rd Strike.

@Siberianhusky89 I'm happy they made Rose much better in SSF4, as my main from the Alpha days, I'm really happy she got the buffs she needed for the SF4 mechanics. She can actually roll with the Shotos now, and stand her ground against everyone else. Third Strike is probably the most technical and definitive version of any SF. Perfect mechanics, perfect parrying, a little broken, but still fun to play til this day.
