Just few days ago I was camping in "Gorski kotar", one of the wildest mountain areas in my country and we also had "little night visits" from large variety of animals. :) The key point was the next day when a bear mom was seen with a 2 cubs just 100 meters from our campsite. And while guarding the flame until morning, all I had was a machete...
