Kick Ass! I just bought a 00' Tahoe with a 5.3! My wife would hate it but I want mine to sound like that! Is it far fetched to assume it would also help out with the gas mileage seeing as how it allows the engine to breathe more fluently?

Did you notice any performance gains or decreases with this muffler.. im thinking about gettin 2 to accompany my x pipe for my 5.3 silverado.. would gas mileage go down or up along with HP!!! thanks in advance man

Yes, both factory cats are still on. Only change is from about 2 feet forward of the muffler back.

I've got flowmaster 10s on my '70 Chevy! Three inch duals from the headers back...it'll really rumble...it really does now since I rebuilt the engine with a nice new cam and heads, intake, carb...etc..

Yep, two of them... one before the engine was built and then the first start of the newly built engine.

Do you also have headers on this? and how big of a difference this than open headers

No headers, factory manifolds. There is a huge difference between this and open headers. The muffler gives the exhaust enough muffle to keep the noise police happy. Headers with this muffler would be great im sure.
