@SSgtParmer 4 your information: 1) The UK is the US' third largest creditor (behind China, obviously, and Japan). 2) The UK wasn't at risk of losing it's AAA credit rating in recent years - unlike the US (thanks to GOP). 3) I'm sure the UK will fare pretty well if we compare indicators of prosperity such as availability of public healthcare,social security,etc. 4) US prosperity depends mainly on China's goodwill and support - the US are ruined if China stops lending to them.
