Without currency there could never have been the expansion of the middle class to the extent that has taken place. Also, not by the issuing of bonds, but by the FEDS printing of 600 billion to purchase the bonds, that is what may cause inflation. Remember that if the economy stays stagnate, then there will be no inflation. Buy printing the 600B we have screwed China more than the American people. It is like we are stealing money from the Chinese and our grandchildren at the same time.
