What's close minded about being kind? And what's open minded about booing people? That's just retarded. This was still funnier than the average American one.
Wasn't the best performance on tgyh but still absolutely hilarious. I haven't watched this in ages. It's better than I last remembered. Thanks for posting all these!
Judging by the people that have been on the american version, they seem to be more script actors like shannon elisabeth and those guys from seinfeld.... whilst in australia, most of them are standup comedians, who are used to being funny on the spot. You probably find the american ones would be funnier if they did the same. I don't think it comes down to different sorts of humor. Arj Barker, who is american and a standup comedian was on the australian one, and he was pretty funny.
I am American (U.S.) and I think this is one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time ... the Aussie version that is ... I've only seen the U.S. version once, but maybe I'll check it out here on YouTube.
In other words ... not all Americans "don't" get Aussie humor.
I saw the american version of this sketch 10 minutes before and i must admit i prefer this one. He chocked a little but was still one of the funniest i've seen.
Thank God You're Here is an Australian production, but this was perhaps the worst of the lot that I have seen. Someone like Hamish Blake or Shaun Micallef have the funniest lines
