So, should people just take a shower in regular tap water as well as drink regular tap water? or should we use some type of filter. What do you think of the Vitamin C filters for showers?
OK... we have 550,000 people dead of cancer every year, seems to me are researchers are not doing the job :( I have to plant my food, distillate and heat my water ad some baking soda to active the water. and i can have better chances to live longer if a car or a plane don't crash me. everything is money so I don't believe in nothing, is better to died living in ignorance
I believe the Russian scientists done work on such Ph separation with electromagnetism some decades ago, you are very easy to understand good video guy, thanks.
One question though: whilst I comprehend such separation might draw any present - particles such as “Arsenics” in to the alkaline side, would it not be case that “Arsenics forms” would need to be present in the water in order for this to happen, or is “Arsenics” being “produced by the process” ?
well i guess you just got to use a non arsenic source of water for this prossess.
But i dont see how drinking the alkaline water will help you as the alkaline will be balanced by acid in the stomach. So besides arsenic are all those positive ions good for you ?? The last thing about is they reduce oxification. Last i checked that was a bad thing. I drink ozoneated water daily and that makes me free from infectius diseases and i feel full of energy wich may be from more oxygen in my blood. peace
My point was that actual free electrons are being produced during the process of electrolysis, not atoms with available electrons. It is important to note that this happens only during proper electrolysis under strong electrical current and with correctly designed electrolysis plates. I believe that your filters would be a good complement to this technology. Good filtering plus effective ionization is key to healthy water. Pubmed.gov has studies on effectiveness of electrolyzed reduced water.
@truthhuntr Again, the key is the research. According to the Mayo Clinic, there is no research that establishes the claim that alkaline water has health benefits. They don't mention ionized water. So, without clear research it's tough to support the notion that this water is good for you. According to some researchers I know who are experts in antioxidants for the human body, the notion of free electrons in the water acting as an antioxidant is pretty questionable. Got to see independent data
@ronmorefield what's funny is people who claim that alkaline water is a myth MUST PROVE THAT AS WELL! funny huh? regardless of the counter-claim-PROOF must be presented. also, he of course has in-depth information of the molecular qualities of water...but he does not speak about the affects of altering water (alkalinity) on the body.
he also does not address how the changes in ph balances occur.
@ronmorefield 2. cont. furthermore...if the separation of ions separates the arsenic in water into the 'alkaline' water wasn't the arsenic in there in the first damn place. lol!
too funny. this dude just posts a video an i'm supposed to take his word for it. all the while his link is to product...aw hell.
if anyone can tell me why the ph balance changes with alkaline water-i'd appreciate it.
@doctorsizzle Cellular pH balance is not substantially affected by alkaline water. that is too simplistic a way to look at it (and it's how most skeptics argue mistakenly against the technology). First, cellular oxidation must be reduced, then each cell could balance its own pH, as it was designed to do. The benefit of properly ionized water (and very few machines do it properly) is to provide this anti-oxidant value. Oxidation is the main issue here, not pH.
@truthhuntr um,,,,drink alkaline water,,,,,changes your stomachs ph, then your body makes more acid.....if you have the salts in you to do this....the by products of the acid production is ,,,,,very alkaline bicarbonate. acid in stomach where it belongs, alkaline in your blood where it does you good. so many chemist drink pepsi,,,,,haha. peace
@ronmorefield It's a matter of which studies and experts you choose to believe. I've read many Japanese and Korean studies and work closely with medical professionals and researchers who are experts in biological oxidation and see nothing questionable about the role of electrolyzed (Kangen) and anti-oxidation. I have much empirical knowledge regarding the health benefits of this water. If you had seen what I have, perhaps you wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this technology purely on theory.
@ronmorefield That being said, I do appreciate your interest in seeing main stream research here in the US (Mayo Clinic), and perhaps that will happen soon. This technology is too new here and is a bit too disruptive to the status quo. There is, however, a 40+ year history with electrolyzed water in the orient; in Japan this is medical-grade water used in hospitals. Most research here being done in clinics with measurable health results; increasing numbers of traditional MDs are embracing it.
The fact that this is a countertop device does not detract from the technology at work here. This device produces an abundance of free electrons, which are the most basic form of anti-oxidants. The presence of free electrons is measurable in the water. These electrons are much more efficiently assimilated than nutritional anti-oxidants, which also work by donating electrons. I see no changing of chemistry and physics principles here.
@truthhuntr I am totally open to any research you can point me to. I will accept that the ionizing filter produces atoms with available electrons in their outer shell. That's not the same as individual free electrons. The question is what the atoms are. They are not the water molecules themselves. So, what are the atoms? Just because an atom has anti-oxidant properties does not mean it is good for you. Trivalent arsenic can be present in the "alkaline" stream in ionic form, but that's not good.
Interesting theoretical discussion, however, with all due respect, you seem to miss the most important function of a properly-designed ionizer.. the production of anti-oxidants. I'd like to know what experience you had with the ionizer you purchased. Have you done any influent/effluent testing on it? You do realize that there are legitimate studies and this technology has been used in Japan for over 40 years with great success?
@truthhuntr I would be very interested in seeing any well designed 3rd party research studies from genuinely accredited sources that you have. So far, everything I have read has been done either by people who were somehow affiliated with the ionizer manufacturers or, when you really looked to see who they were, had marginal credentials.
@truthhuntr Also, with regard to antioxidants. Anti-oxidation has to do with the status of the electrons in the outer shells of atoms, but it's important to distinguish anti-oxidants, in general, from nutritional anti-oxidants because they are not the same thing. Chemistry and physics principles cannot be changed by a counter top device. Thanks for your comments and send any research you can.
Thats why your obese and wear glasses and bald headed and speak in mono tone because you are healthy it looks like you dont live up to your claim and have the knowledge about water. Have someone that is healthy to make the video next time.
bladdes210, he is stating facts about water, look them up anywhere you idiot. also knowing basic chemistry doesn't have anything to do with being healthy. This video is very informative.
