So its like you buy a 6 pack of whatever brand this was , and see that budweiser imprint on the glass of the bottle and then you're like... hmm... wtf? and then you take out another and see it doesn't have the imprint...

  • @TobyNorman777

its called recycling, saves the company abit of money and is better for the enviroment

  • Well, I did a little reading and discovered that most bottler carousels pressurize the bottles with CO2 and fill with Beer under pressure, that prevents excessive foaming while filling the bottles really really fast, lol. some can fill as many as 16 bottles per second !

  • couple things.... it's not "Scum" It's beautiful krausen.

  • 1:13 You can't filter out chlorine.

  • @rhyno6 o really? i think the owners of the beer company would probably know that

  • @YOMAMAXXL You'd think. I purify water for a living. Only a chemical reaction can be used to remove chlorine. I'm sure this is just a case of the show's producers and editors being ignorant of the process.

  • @rhyno6 who are you?

  • Nicholas Cage??

  • Fun fact: In ancient Mesopotamia, the people took beer brewing so seriously that if you brewed one bad batch, your punishment was to be drowned in it. No kidding.

  • @Hauntzor

Did you learn that from The Oatmeal?

  • @tipoomaster YES OMFG HOW DID YOU KNOW D:

  • @Hauntzor

Because the Oatmeal is god and he spoke to me.

  • that guy at the front end of this video is very weirds

  • Ggevorkyan

it matters what kind of beer

  • This video made me thirsty for a beer! :D

  • The hops look slot like this cat litter I've seen in pet stores.... :/

  • Hey deezvids,

to answer your question the hops that they used in the video are "pelletized" so they

don't look like what they really are, that being a little compact green flower bud the

size of the end of your finger.

    man this makes me thirsty!

  • i want a cold beer, no wait, i want two, no a 24 pack of ice cold beer

  • My god, these guys do an awful job at explaining this....

  • ur cool

  • Used bottles are now washed ; after the wash cycle, the bottles have become sterilized. Empty bottles arrive on this plate ready to be filtered. About 1,000 bottles a minute are filled all on the move. The (?) past by the capper before being sent to the pasteurizer for pasteurization.

Only two steps remain. Labels are glued onto the bottles, then are sent by the conveyors to be put into cases.

  • Now aged for 3 weeks the beer is almost finished.

We see here the bottle in tanks. The beer has to be filtered once more. Exceeding filters the waters clarified then relieve the components responsible for the cloudiness of the beer..

Here's the beer filtered a second time. And finally finished as a clear product.

  • They add in the yeast which starts off the fermentation, a process that lasts between 7 and 10 days.

This form (?) indicates that fermentation has begun and sugars will now transform into alcohol. Each fermentation tank has computer control to maintain a specific temperature.

During fermentation (?) reaction creates candel (?) recipe.

  • Now another ingredient : the hops is added into the wort heater. The hops import a better ness and aroma particular to beer. The hops looks like this.

Now they can start the brewing. In the control room an operator handles the data control system of the brewing process.

  • This is the draft, a solid residue extracted from the wort. It would later be used as cattle feed. Here is a closer view of the draft.

Then the liquid is filtered ; here is the filtration tank where the wort is separated from the malt asks. A sample is withdrawn from the malt treater to verify the density of sugars and the quality of the wart.

  • The preparation was spent 2 hours here and agitator prevents malt asks from settling to the bottom of the tank. Turbulence from the pump string the transfer causes the formation of this protein form. The malt is in the process of being extracted and will be boiled, about 5 hours of past since the brewing process began.

Here they draw off a sample (?) since they make other control tests at various stages of brewing.

  • The company has its own water filtration plans ; these would be refiltred before being used to eliminate chlorine. This material tank can hold 80,000 litres of water, between 10 and 15 tonnes of malt and another grains are added (?).

They use dark malt which has been heat treated to a high temperature.

  • HOW IT'S MADE BEER

Ancient people brew this flavour for beverage with malt, barley and hops. Today we use much the same ingredients to make beer but with a production technology that's miles ahead.

Beer is a fermented beverage made with cereals and water. The barley used to making beer comes from the western (?) with the malt being done elsewhere.

  • Hello, could somebody please help me with correcting the following transcript? Thank you :-)

  • How It's Made (by whites)

  • This episode has the best background music ever. I'm ripping this video to an mp3, even if I have to listen to Mark Tewksbury's voice... :(((

  • You could just download audacity and cut everything but the music out.

  • Yeah, I tried that, it sounds worse. Thanks.

  • You need to set audacity to "What U hear". I expect you were recording what was coming out of your speakers with a microphone.

  • rocky mountian water like coors loght????

  • lmao XD

  • How its made is an excellent show.

  • @xBeAGoodPersonx Beer is an excellent thing.

  • Okay, why do the hops look like hamster food? xD

  • hahaha

  • It's hops concentrate. It is used for mass production of beer. Other smaller "micro" breweries usualy use normal hops to produce beer.

  • @deezvids It's processed that way for large brewers. My guess is it's probably easier to clean with the trub rather than the cone looking hops that break up and may clog lines. I personally also use compressed hop pellets for my own brewing.

  • @deezvids cause it is hampster food

  • @deezvids i think beer has hamster food in it O.O

  • @deezvids They're pelletized for easer transport and storage.

  • @deezvids These are called hop pellets that are concentrated and packaged. Fresh hops look like small green pine cones.
