It is the former nuclear bunker, RAF Ash, near Sandwich in Kent, England. It was originally a bunker built for the RAF Rotor RADAR system in the 1950s.
Your so-called Theory will not work if you forget about a previous employee. You would need to take that person out of the Security Pass Code Systems and void out his or her's Pass Code. Not to mention the Ex-Employee's Ties with inside workers.
So how can you keep up with this Process going through each and every day as workers are being cut loose{Job being Terminated} because of Malicious Acts or Non-Procedural Assignments?

If that were true, Google Web Results 93,400 "U.K. Computer Hackers Hack Into Internet Servers".
Being that extensive into your "Securing Internet Theory", What are the real Scenarios dealing with real simple information pertaining to the ownership of the computers being linked up to the internet?
I'm going to Three Secured Routers; 2 B----- Certified Wireless/Ethernet Wifi Access Routers & 1 2W--- Wireless/Ethernet Main Router.

aggree....any savvis data center is more secure then this crap , try being montior with over 260 camras ;///// records every angle of every square feet , evern have a alarm under the cage...so if yout try to go from underneath ,you know what makes it more sucure , when you enter .u sing in ....they issue u ur key ...you swipe you keycard ,at the pod. then when u enter ur #k then u put ur hand on the screen ,then the both weigh u by the ounce , u dont know ...thne ur keycard then ur in room 1
Wrong, America has the most insecure commerical networks in the world. America DOES have ONE OF the most secure MILTARY networks of which is equally secure to the UK's miltary network.
@Robert1995 I agree, But Gary McKinnan still managed to hack it while looking for proof aliens have visited the earth and the us govt and NASA are covering it up.
gosh, they are dumb, the real stealing comes from hacking via INTERNET!! If i wanted information i would not physically go steal a hard drive, that would be pointless!! There are so many hard drives that are all linked together in raid that you need quite a few to get some information, one is not enough... less physical security, more storage security (ex. linux)...
the point their making its that its physically secure. At no point do they brag about network security. In the US most datacenters tend to be in the heartland to help ovoid terroist attacks. Imagine if the World Trade Center was a Datacenter. ;)
@bmw2go11 Oh yeah there dumb, sure. You really think they have not made provisions for hackers? This is showing how they are physically protected, it does not mean its the only way its protected.
Windows 98 "can" be used as some sort of a server os, but it has so many loopholes.. they would get hacked in seconds.
Something at LEAST better than 98 is winNT, at best server08'.. that sucks into it's own name when put to work.
If it were up to me, i'd say: make some sort of a linux/unix based os- that even to the handful of pro linux hackers, is impenetrable, because of it being completely different.
Windows will never live inside a server needing this grade in security.
Yes, it does get stolen and destroyed both physically and digitally. You might want to think some of the smartest people in the security industry know what they're doing.
You can have all the physical security you want around your servers, but that isn't going to stop a hacker stealing data from your improperly configured servers!
Unfortunately that is something that happens all too often, attempts to reduce development costs creates web applications with lots of potential security issues.
Physical security is not there to prevent theft, it's there to stop DOS attacks through physical attack. Imagine if some one took a bomb into a data center, especially into a pressurised room.
How are they safe from fraud? Hackers can hack anything they choose to.

highly unqualified report. sure physical security is one side, but not even a single word on the much more important network security? srsly?

The best protection for a server is to not have it connected to the internet.

@bmw2go11 - As a UNIX developer (systems software) I can say that there is at least one way to make Windows more secure than UNIX or UNIX-like clones:
1. Power down the Windows server.
2. Unplug said server from its SAN and power supply.
3. Carry server over to blast furnace.
4. Drop server in blast furnace.
5. Pour 1000 tons of molton steel over said server.
6. Cook said server at 1600 degress for 24 hours or until tender.
Job done! Whoever said Wintel is not secure?
