@mountainboarderuk Yep it is possible, but inflateble kites are a bit fragile on land and need more wind than foil kites. Foil kites especialy race kites with fix bridle are lot better for buggykiting.
Dont watch wideos of this guy, he is just a noobie asshole with some kind of brain disfunction probably.
@silverarogr Hey mate, it depends on how you want to progress and what kind of person you are. Get back to me and ill help you out with everything, from getting dicsoutns at kitestores, to explaining the benifits of bow and c kites and their weaknesses.
For any unappreciative people that are bagging this guy, why? He's giving you help for free! After private lessons i can tell you that this guy knows what hes talking about, so what he might be a little hard to understand, but he's giving up his time to help and offer tips. If you don't like it, go pay 50$ an hour for a private lesson.
I don't know who is dumber, this jackass or all your douche bags laughing b/c he called it a C kite. Umm, play it again (if you can stand it) he never says thats a C kite.
technically Best does not pay the patent to Diamond Blue and therefore it is not a true bow kite (it does not have a concave trailing edge) but I wouldn't call it a hybrid either. It is an SLE that is trying to copy the bow kite design without paying the license and therefore it sucks...terrible relaunch, spend a few extra bucks and enjoy being able to fly your kite, crash your kite and relaunch your kite.
Sadly, he jumped on the expert village gig for it's easy advertising. And to say nothing of his other videos(which I've seen), the real sucker punch is taking a lesson with him: Communication by yelling is his way, don't instruct, command. Really obnoxious when you just want to get out for a after work sesh. As of yet I am unaware of any kite school in Miami that utilizes helmet mounted radios(walkies) to facilitate teaching. Guess they'd rather take a trip to PR than invest in their business.
AAAHHHHH!!!!!.... IT'S HIM AGAIN!!!!... GET AWAY FROM ME YOU DUMBASS!!....damn you francisco flesqudina or whatever your name is, give up and go home!
this guy cant explain anything, check out his landboarding tutorials, full of mistakes wich could make u end up in the hospital, all he cares about is advertising for his website =/ and as already sead: i sure hope he isnt a qualified instructor
He is showing a Bow kite AND a SLE kite. Be careful with your definitions. A SLE kite, which stands for Supported Leading Edge, is any kite that has bridles (lines that attach to the leading edge) that are under constant tension when flying. Both Bow kites and Hybrid kites are SLE kites. A 5th line C-Kite is not a SLE kite because the 5th line does not have constant tension. It is just used as a safety mechanism and to assist re-launching the kite.
Dude, when something goes wrong, you will see the difference by using a bow kite. Depowering could save your life and DOES make a difference. You should try all the eject and depowering systems available and choose the one that suits best for you.
it looks like a banana kite

i think i could explain it better with those 450 words left :)
classic c : all 4 lines to fly are at the end of the kite (corners) shape like a C
hybrid c : C shape but bridle system at fronttube for more depower (safer) (can be "trimmed" more into wind)
bow : shape like "(" "bridle" at front. same advantage as hybrid. not as agil (better for beginners, you dont steer it into ground too quickly)
more agility is better for loops ect (to do jumps, tricks)
relaunch is too much to explain :(

Is really important how you break down your kite and pack it in your bag? I just kind of rolled it up and stuffed it in my bag.

just make sure the air is out and wil come no sand into the kite.

for those who dont know - it would appear there are lots of you heres the facts ..
The kite he is talking about is an SLE ..not a 'C'
Bows and SLE's are DIFFERENT ..very slightly but different this is not marketing , but patent avoidance,
A true bow kite has a concave trailing edge an SLE has a straight leading edge .
Thats the difference..this guy is giving instructors a bad name

I have learned more since this post, I agree and Bow and SLE are the same, it's really a marketing thing.
