Yeah, there is a significant amount of physics and coding that go into video games, but that is WAY beside the point. And it's not like video games like Fallout 2 or BioShock have storylines as complex and interesting as any of the literature Savage would like you to think he reads (even though we all know he hasn't).

It is the one course that I think shouldn't be on the list. Nonetheless, its value is minimal if the individual isn't majoring in the subject. There is a certain level at which the diversity of subjects reduce the value of ones capital. One becomes a jack of all trades, a master of none.

Also, what is wrong with someone from, say, the humanities taking that course: it may pique their interest in the subject (it is MIT, afterall) and it could even inspire them in their writing (graphic novels, comics, etc.). It is not an issue of who takes the class, it is an issue of what the class is about.

Nonetheless, they are not relevant to my field, so I didnt list it. Ive taken chinese Lit & Poetry, two courses in philosophy, the Other: dynamics of western and eastern europe..etc.
