@BashuUp Well, if everyone would take that attitude, the music world would look like this: "Music is about melody, so why practice scales?". What I and many others are offering are simply tools to improve improvisational skills. Clark Terry said it best: "Imitation, Assimilation, Innovation". THAT is jazz!
