  • I love this song and so sorry I'm in the wrong country!

  • I didn't imagine they could also do reunion.

I wish they could tour in Japan again.

  • Dublin's Power of Dreams are to reunite in 20120 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic debut album 'Immigrants, emigrants and me'.

10 March - Dundalk, Spirit Store

    12 March - Dublin, Whelans

13 March - Cork, The Pavilion

  • Saw them for the first time at The Borderline on August 8th, 1990. Great show. Fantastic album too, I still listen to it from time to time, always brings back so many memories (though they tend to be more and more sketchy as the years pass by).

  • Ah brings back memories- thanks for posting! Power of Dreams and The Stunning - 2 great unsung heroes of irish indie scene

  • wicked - just stumbled across this and aint heard it in years! class...magic

  • What a great great irish band, they were amazing live, Seen them live lots of times, Dublin, Galway, Cork, Tipp, Tullamore and even "Edenderry". Just Brilliant....

  • Need to get my old cd's out now - saw them loads when I was a student and bought everything from the gigs. I've got a packet of POD condoms somewhere!!!!

  • Bizzarre, but no doubt effective marketing tool. Probably less the power of dreams, and more of wishful thinking in some cases, however....

  • Saw these guys at the windsor old trout, sadly now gone. Great band deserved to be much bigger, great lyrics loved them.

  • Love these guys for long now. One huuuuuge regret : never seen them live.

    Please more videos too.

  • Took me three attempts to find this song keep gettin fuckin honda ads

  • A truly amazing track - I'm a big fan and have collect POD stuff, but this is my favourite of favourites...

  • Yes yes yes yes!!! what a track! saw them support "the house of love" at the SFX back around 87ish..... Defo the best track from them... and "mothers eyes"

    Cheers for this!!

  • How comes these guys were never HUGE!?!?!

  • People tend not to like passionate music, unfortunately. These guys and Kitchens of Distinction should both have been world-famous, but there we go. Still magesterial, even when only enjoyed by a few.

  • This is one of my all time fav tunes !!!

  • seen them supporting the mission @ sfx 1989, good band

  • A great track !!!!!!!

  • Proof positive there is more to echoing Irish new wave than just U2...

  • Have all this crowds autographs on their songlist as they played Sir Henrys in Cork City where I was a "Chief Glasscollector" & watched a full gig (for free )of theirs from side stage (like I was one of their bitchs)..Viel spas!!!
