I'd rather have the tone options post-recording with this axe than a conventional nylon string guitar any day. Great job! Like with any instrument, the playing makes it sound good.
wonderful interpretation there are many young people who would never hear this amazing piece of music by Albeniz .great music can translate in any medium.. recommend that you look at the Flamenco version by Angel Le Jarza
I think it would have sounded better without the amp FX. Anyway, the playing was very skilled. I can tell you are used to electric guitars and those hyperspeeds.
¡Bravo!
Hi, thanks for listening and commenting. I need to point out that this is NOT meant to be an 'aesthetic' interpretation of the piece. I use it as a kind of 'mental exercise' but I know it sounds too fast here. I agree that if tone was my concern I'd probably use a full bodied guitar (though the Yamaha is great for ease of recording and adding effects etc.) Thanks again - Ian
Agreed!! Though it's worth seeing the Ana Vidovic version - she plays it superbly at speed (and she's much better looking than me too!!) Thanks for commenting.
wonderful interpretation dont be put off by negative comments. Great music as this piece is can translate in any medium you are bringing this music to young ears who would never appreciate the classical guitar version well done and keep it up.
Great playing and I like your back yard. You get some bad weather!

So schöne Spieltechnik! Aber der Sound ist wirklich abscheulich (zu viel Echo, ein Brei von Harmonien).Freundliche Grüße - S.

@Ibringthetruth1 Under the saddle. Then there's the reverb / preamp / etc. circuitry in the back of the body, with earphones-out, etc....
These days one of my personal goals is to build a reverb circuit that will last more than 2 or 3 hours on one 9v battery :/

Really cool.
Havent you an external phazer or such connected?
I ask because i think that the sound is (sorry) much poorer than from my SLG120NW (bought this thursday)'s internal reverb?
But brillant play - give us more!

You are clearly such a good player why waste your time playing on this poor sounding imitation Spanish guitar??? I'm genuinely perplexed.
