@AltairEgo1 Devil Axe backfire rate is highly based on your Luck stat, which the chance of failing is (31-current Luck Stat)%, since Barth had a Luck of 4 when this video was recording, it's pretty much a guarantee he'd end up killing himself (30ish% is very high in Fire Embliem standards).

The only thing good abt the devil axe is that an E rank axe user can use it, and it'll raise their weapon level within a few uses, if the character doesn't die in the process

And nobody gives a crap that your "generals always get high speed." Personal experience means nothing in Fire Emblem; I could have generals with amazing speed or I could get an Oswin wish 5 speed as a level 1 General. On average...

@mikuelify Personal experience means nothing. Knights/Generals are a pretty bleh class mainly due to movement. Speed's also a weak point of theirs, although some exceptions exist. Among those you mentioned, Oswin's the only good one, however his movement and speed alone prevent him from being game soloing material. Gilliam's nothing too special, but FE8 is an easy game anyways. And any knight/general in FE6 is barely even worth the time and effort to train them.

i only have sacred stones, radiant dawn, and shadow dragon. and my favorite generals are gilliam and darros. radiant dawn has no good generals, just a bunch of killer animals and ike. no one else is hardly any good in part 4.

@yojasmagic i believe you. i just never did it cuz mia and boyd were easier to train and pwned faster. my generals always get killed when the enemy gangs up on them with ranged magic. tauroneo doesnt get used enough, gatrie doesnt move very far, and brom is great! but not as great as the other classes...so yeah...generals are too hard to train compared to others

PS: But anyways, you don't unlock the Súper Trainee class until you pass the game in BOTH PATHS (Eprahim's path and Eirika's one), so I'd select the General class, because she wins some CON, plus, she wins the ability to use the entire Weapon Triangle. :)

Also, Amelia doesn't need to be a General, because she can be too a Cavalier, and then promote to Paladin or to another class in which she can use the complete main Triangle of Weapons, or else, if you completed the game in the two stories (Eirika and Eprahim), you can promote her to a Súper Trainee and have her to get +15% of critical.

Yea, Barth really suck in this game. The only three things he will be proficent is strength, defense, and HP, the rest is just suck. In fact, Knights and General sucks in general (incredibly lame pun there). The only knight/general I consider to be the best is Wendy in this game. At that time, she maxed all her stats except for HP, magic def, and defense. And don't get me started with Amelia from Sacred Stones, she's better as a Super Recruit.
