  • french in quebec is different than french in france... so i don't get why you were using france accents

  • That's a decent enough job.

    I mean... I expected a disaster.

  • You sounded European when you spoke French. At least learn the accent.

  • And now soverigntists have been reduced to protesting not enough french music and an anglo coach at a habs game... all it shows is how dead that movement is.

  • For americans It's amazing you know so much about Canada good on you

  • lol, i'm from quebec, it's not all of us that wanna separate

  • its totally pointless for the french to seperate from Canada...its nothing but a foolish idea made up by some french activists that have an infiriority complex...i dont blame them however because the french have a very negative natural disposition and will take any chance they get to stir the pot...so to all of the frenchies that see this...forget about seperating....never gonna happen trust me its for your own good.

  • @MrMusterdtiger91 I'm always amazed by people talking about something they think they know...

If the french have a very negative natural disposition, does that mean the anglo-saxon have a positive one? No one is superior, everyone is equal, that's the point of separatism.

  • Social controls are attempts to punish or silence individuals who deviate from society's set pattern.

  • @b1naqm28 out with a bang, but you will be slithering out from your hole (that stinking hole you keep telling us about)

  • @b1naqm28 I have designed surgery units, emergency departments, whole hospital wings, and entire hospitals for st. lucia. my work saves lives - your only work appears to be the spreading of hateful racist profanity. you are your own worst enemy. I pity you.

  • @UpstairsMaid well at least your an honest person with honest work...i commend you for such

  • @b1naqm28 I don't respond to threats from idiots. I design hospitals for a living - my work saves lives. What have you done?

  • Is war in Canada? Is Quebec a part of Canada or apart from Canada? Very confusing for me! Duetsch and Francais fight many yrars to claim Alsace. We Francais now, but not always. War is bad!

  • @b1naqm28 yeule isn;t a word! it's gueule! you're not even french! you're a poseur - an english person named Mike theMike who hates everyone who isn't french including yourself. SAD! and you travel endlessly to destinaions where it is possible to purchase sex with children! bangkok anyone? and by what you say about haitians you're a racist. awful!

  • @Hanniboom It is ironic, the timing of what I read today. "When you blow your stack, you add to the world's pollution. These hotheads don't understand that every time you lose your temper, you advertise yourself - and you're not selling a positive. Nothing cooks your goose more than a boiling temper" Harvey Mackey.

If Little Doggie is listening in, he might not understand the meaning of "blow your stack", "hothead" or "cooks your goose" These might be too English for him to understand.

  • @b1naqm28 Oh, Little Doggie! You are not an ass!

Well, maybe a braying old donkey, too old to ride.

Waiting for a bullet, then into a trench you will slide.

Don't you must not forget, it was you, early on, who proposed a sexual liason . How would the children in Thailand fit into your plan? Little Doggie, you are trying to be sly! I don'y want to to die. I want you to live long enough to see all shades of people around you, a confusion of languages in your ears.

  • @Hanniboom Quite by accident. I questioned him about the spelling of a word which I did not recognise. This was before I became aware of his fascination with Quebec separation or that he was probably using very passable English. (Far superior to my French) Matters went downhill from there. I even bowed out and dropped away, but he continued sending messages laced with curses. I googled him. I was astonished how vile (and determined) he is while pursuing someone. He is Little Doggie. Odd!

  • @b1naqm28 Le Professeur, Pourquoi avez-vous pas a respondre a ma sincere questions? Avez-vous peur de fournir la clarte?

  • @b1naqm28 Little Doggie Here it is 2011 and you are critical of Algeria? Are you unaware that members of the FLQ demanded to be allowed to leave Quebec in order to reside in Algeria, Viet Nam or Cuba rather than stay in Quebec in the early 1970s? I was under the opinion, you were a politically-aware citizen interested maintaining Quebec culture, tradition and language. Why. Little Doggie are you opposed to Algerians?

  • @Louisehascancer Excuse me. Louise is it? You have cancer, Louise or are you looking for someone to feel sorry for you? Don't go messing with Little Doggie! He's a poodle with the ego of a Alsatian. I've been checking up on you too. You are free to converse with anyone you please, but don't try to parody me. FLQ? Watch out for Little Doggy. He says naughty words that a lady shouldn't read. He a disturbed case study!

  • @4BlocksE2ndOnRight M. sorry :( Est-ce que le professur pas comme vous autant qu'll n'aime pas me? Louise

  • @Hanniboom You're right about this guy, thats the kind of extremly destructive and divisive attitute that some people have in every society (and its a shame). But you're wrong to think that Quebec nationalism necessarily mean being racist like this dude. Belonging to Quebec doesn't mean being sovereignist either... There is also a lot of racism from Canadians towards Quebecers (take a look at the comments pages of major newspapers).

In any case, I'm going to bed, cyu around. (I'm from mtl too)

  • @Hanniboom Mmmkay... Hopefully your gonna end up feeling like you belong in Quebec too. Cyu around.

  • @Hanniboom I just read your other posts, its ok to be Canadian, its just that in Quebec thats a political opinion ; and most of the people in Quebec identify more to Quebec than to Canada.

  • @Hanniboom Ok so you know that french and english have also their own food, philosophy, architecture etc... Canada is a country made of former colonies, you know that right? You know that Quebec used to be french and the rest used to be english right? They just spent a whole week marvelling at their futur king.. So use your knowledge a little bit and don't say there is no difference between us, the rest of Canada or the US.. What the point of history if you can't apply it to reality.

  • @Hanniboom Just a word To says that i dont envision a country where english is persecuted... like most of the seperatist... But of course there a stupid zealots in every cause... And i'm sorry for the stupids separatist who spread the idea that it's a race thing... which is totally false and oversimplificated. So if youe in québec, I welcoime you to stay :) whatever your political ideas might be! :)

  • @Hanniboom I guess the Canada should seperate from Québec then ;)

  • wikipedia: Quebec sovereignty movement

you guys really didn't look hard enough.... it was the first link on google -.-'

  • @Hanniboom Well There was a second phase of legislation when the british feared to lose control over "the province of Québec" to the american rebellion. the newly catholic rights and the influence of the church maintained the Québec people into the british empire.

  • @Hanniboom our junior year history class was History of the Americas. North and South America. So when it came time to do Canadian history, our teacher wanted to do a debate on Quebec separatism and our class really liked making videos so...

  • Comment removed

  • im from quebec and im french ..... i must say that you guys are totally wrong but you made me watch it so you deserve 1 point for that. You still have alot to learn about quebec and canada history

  • I'm in the same history class and we did a separate (much worse) video arguing the other side of quebecois separatism. And it's true the issue is very complex because it involves so many years and people and alternating power and policies. But I think the video gives a very good picture of the sentiment (except for the american one maybe) surrounding the issue. Do you agree?

  • Thank you for the comment. Sorry though, we're just a bunch of American teenagers attempting to make Quebec Separatism short and entertaining for our history class. Quebec separatism is shrouded in mystery really; the internet didn't give us very much reliable information, so we just ended up filling it with stereotypes. We did learn more about Quebec and Canada, but the beginning two centuries of the conflict had to be left out to make the video shorter.

  • You have some point some place but you do have a lot of biased fact in your video. For example, you have to root the movement deeper into history, separatism did not start with René Lévesque. You have to start with the british will to force us to abandon New-France faith and culture. Now Nobody says that French culture is superior to the english one in anyway. The québécois only wants to be able to rule themselves in their own language according to their will...
