@EpicFailureFilms I know I'm responding late- but there are different groups of law enforcement involved. The ones that visited him per Parole, Antioch- those agencies messed up. The 2 female Berkley Campus officers- they deserve the praise. They trusted their gut instincts as parents.
"Sex" slave? She was a *rape* slave. This was rape. To even involve the word "sex" is sick. There was no possibility of consent involved so it'd be like saying "consent to enslavement" (i.e. it makes no damn sense).
Sex by definition is the act of penetration, regardless of consent. Rape is the act of forced penetration. Slavery is the act of being forced into servitude. So, in conclusion, a Sex Slave is a person who is forced into servitude of penetration. Slavery has no consent and the act of sex needs no consent. Yeah, it was rape, but that's what a sex slave is, a person forced to have sex whenever the authoritative figure wants.
Um, the law does not recognize consensual slavery. In the U.S., even if someone "consents" to being enslaved, it *is* still illegal, and the "Master" can still be arrested and prosecuted.
